Enhancing combat capability of Party organizations in Mường Ảng

ĐBP - In recent years, Party members at Party cells and committees in Mường Ảng district, Điện Biên province have actively promoted their role, responsibility, and exemplary behavior in national patriotic movements, contributing to the development of their families and communities. This is a key factor in strengthening and enhancing the combat capacity of grassroots-level Party organizations.

At the end of 2024, Giàng A Dinh, 25, a member of the Thồ Lộ hamlet’s youth union (Ẳng Tở commune), had the honor of being admitted to the Party after years of training and striving. For Dinh, this is not only a personal honor but also a great joy for his family and clan.

Dinh shared: “Being admitted to the Party is the result of my hard work and determination. With the responsibility of a young Party member, I will actively develop and expand my family’s economic model so that fellow union members and villagers can learn from it. At the same time, I will actively participate in patriotic movements initiated by local authorities.”

With the flexible and creative methods of the Party Committee of Ẳng Tở commune, such as assigning individual responsibilities to Party Executive Committee members to guide local villages in helping people strive to join the Party, and directing mass organizations to promote patriotic movements, raise awareness, and encourage efforts among union members, youth, and local people, Ẳng Tở commune has become a shining example in Party development work.

From 2020 onwards, the Ẳng Tở commune’s Party Committee has admitted 104 new Party members, bringing the total number of Party members in the entire committee to 340. During the 2020-2025 term, the commune’s Party Committee established five new Party cells: Huổi Chỏn, Huổi Châng, Huổi Háo, Thồ Lộ, and Pú Tỉu. By establishing the Pú Tỉu Party Cell in March 2024, Mường Ảng district no longer has any “blank” Party cells.

The Pú Tỉu Party Cell, established in March 2024, marks a significant milestone in the Party-building work of the Mường Ảng district’s Party Committee, as it was the last hamlet in the district to establish a Party cell.

Developing new Party members is a common challenge in highland districts. Based on an analysis of local conditions, the Standing Board of the Mường Ảng district Party Committee has directed various departments, mass organizations, and commune Party committees to enhance their leadership roles, strengthen coordination, and address local challenges. Specifically, the focus is on youth, militia, demobilized soldiers, and teachers in communes, encouraging them to actively participate in patriotic movements and have the ideals and aspirations to join the Party.

Moreover, the district has instructed commune-level Party committees to assign officials to take responsibility for areas, guide grassroots Party cells, and direct mass organizations to survey, compile, and create a list of outstanding individuals for training and Party development. For Party cells, after sending excellent individuals for Party awareness training, further activities are conducted to support them, tracking their moral and lifestyle development, ensuring their motivation to strive for Party membership by fulfilling their assigned duties, actively participating in movements, complying with regulations, and avoiding social vices. This approach helps create a path for Party admission, which is then reviewed by competent authorities.

Thanks to these flexible methods, the number and quality of Party members in Mường Ảng district have consistently increased. From the beginning of the 2020-2025 term to now, the district Party Committee has admitted 889 new members, of which 698 are from ethnic minorities. Annually, the district admits nearly 200 new Party members, reaching 150% of the target set by the district’s Party Congress.

Nguyễn Tiến Tuấn, Head of the Commission for Organization under the Mường Ảng district’s Party Committee, said: “By implementing a range of synchronized solutions in Party-building work, Party committees at all levels have effectively followed Resolution No.22 of the Central Party Committee (Tenure X) on enhancing the leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots Party organizations and the quality of Party members and officials. Along with that, constant attention is paid to educating and training Party members with strong will and clear political principles, committed to the Party’s goals and ideals, actively striving for academic and personal improvement, completing assigned tasks well, preserving ethical qualities, and adhering to the Party’s regulations.”

By improving the leadership capacity and combat strength of Party organizations and members at the grassroots level, the Party committee aims to create an environment for Party members to thrive, thus contributing to the overall success of the Party’s mission.
