Attending the event was Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee of the provincial Department of Justice successfully fulfilled all assigned political tasks, meeting and exceeding all seven groups of targets set by the previous Congress Resolution. Highlights include the drafting and refinement of legal frameworks, with 29 legal documents issued, 340 documents appraised, and over 1,200 draft documents reviewed. Legal education and dissemination efforts were significantly strengthened, supported by a network of more than 2,000 grassroots communicators. Legal aid services, property auctions, notarization, judicial records, and civil status management all saw notable growth in both quantity and quality. Party building efforts were prioritized, with 16 new Party members admitted; all Party cells and members consistently fulfilled their duties.

The department’s Party Committee maintained strict discipline and strong internal unity, with no members violating the law or facing serious disciplinary action. Administrative reforms, digital transformation initiatives, and the promotion of studying and following Hồ Chí Minh’s ideology, morality, and style were comprehensively implemented, resulting in positive changes across the Party Committee and the agency.

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee set eight key targets, focusing on: further enhancing leadership capacity and combat strength of the grassroots Party organization; promoting the pioneering and exemplary roles of Party members; renewing Party activities; strengthening political and ideological education; strictly upholding discipline and order; intensifying inspection and supervision efforts; striving to successfully accomplish all assigned political tasks; and building a comprehensively strong Party organization, agency, and mass organizations.

In his directive speech, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lê Thành Đô highly praised the comprehensive achievements of the Party Committee of the Department of Justice in the past term, particularly in legal institutional building, administrative reform, and digital transformation. He emphasized that, in the new context, the Party Committee must continue to foster innovation and creativity, uphold strict discipline, tighten administrative procedures, and improve the quality of its staff and Party members. He called on the collective intelligence and professional competence of officials and civil servants to effectively advise the provincial People’s Committee in state management and legal affairs.

The Congress elected a seven-member Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term and selected delegates to attend the higher-level Party Congress.

At the first meeting of the newly elected Executive Board, key positions were elected, including the Party Secretary, Deputy Party Secretary, and members of the Inspection Committee of the Department of Justice Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Trần Thanh Hưng, Director of the Department of Justice, was elected as the Party Secretary for the 2025 - 2030 term.
