Nguyễn Xuân Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Head of the General Administration Division under the Project Management Board, said that the Party Committee has 27 members. In preparation for the second term (2025-2030), the committee has proactively developed a plan based on Directive No.35-CT/TW by the Politburo on party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress. The plan has been adjusted in accordance with Directive No.45/CT-TW by the Politburo. The focus has been on the necessary tasks to ensure the timely completion of preparations for the congress.

Accordingly, the committee has set up a sub-committee to assist in the congress, with clear task assignments for each member. So far, the sub-committee has completed the draft political report, as well as the collective review report of the committee. It has also initiated the steps to gather opinions and revise the draft, which will be submitted to the provincial Party Committee for approval. The political report evaluates comprehensively and objectively the achievements, shortcomings, reasons, and lessons learned, and sets out the direction, goals, specific targets, key tasks, and major solutions for the 2025-2030 term. The review report highlights the spirit of self-criticism, evaluates the results of the term, points out weaknesses, the reasons for limitations, and the responsibilities of the collective and individuals, with measures to address the shortcomings in the upcoming term.

At the same time, the committee has completed the program and script for the congress, with the proposed presidium, secretaries, and members of the ballot counting committee. The discussion topics for the congress have been assigned to collectives and individuals, and they have been largely completed. Regarding personnel preparations for the congress, the committee has reviewed and compiled a list of candidates who meet the qualifications for re-election. The selection focuses on individuals who demonstrate political integrity, competence, political standing, moral character, and lifestyle. It is expected that 5 members will be elected to the new Party Committee, with 4 members being re-elected and 1 member participating for the first time.

Notably, the committee has also prioritized enhancing communications about the party congress at all levels to raise political awareness among the staff and party members, fostering unity within the committee. Various forms of communication have been implemented, such as through meetings, discussions, Party branch activities, and banners with slogans welcoming the congress displayed on the unit’s digital welcome gates. Ahead of the congress, a movement to celebrate achievements has been launched, creating an enthusiastic competitive atmosphere among all members to complete the set goals and tasks.

With active and thorough preparation, the Party congress of the Project Management Board for Civil and Industrial Works of Điện Biên province for the second term (2025-2030) is expected to be successful and in line with regulations.
