The first Party Congress of the Department of Science and Technology held successfully

ĐBP - On the afternoon of July 3, the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology held its first Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending and directing the congress was Nguyễn Văn Đoạt, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee.

The Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology was newly established through the merger of the Party Committees of the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Information and Communications. It now consists of 4 subordinate party cells with a total of 81 party members.

In the past term, the Party Committee successfully led and implemented comprehensive and effective tasks across multiple areas as outlined in the working program. All 10 target groups and objectives were achieved or exceeded. The building of the Party organization and the development of party members received strong attention. The committee also led the successful reorganization of the departmental structure following the principles of “streamlined - strong - efficient - effective”.

In key areas such as science, innovation, intellectual property, high-tech applications, green technology, and Industry 4.0, notable achievements were recorded. The department also promoted clean and organic agriculture, developed raw material zones tied to key provincial products and OCOP products, focusing on sustainable value chains. It successfully transferred numerous provincial-level scientific and technological research results, delivered agricultural and livestock technologies, and organized training for technicians of enterprises and cooperatives.

In terms of digital government, digital economy, digital society, cybersecurity, and press and publishing, the department has actively applied various software tools, platforms, and technological devices, improving accuracy and labor productivity.

The congress approved 9 specific targets, 6 key tasks, and main implementation solutions for the new term, and unanimously passed the Resolution of the 1st Party Congress of the Department of Science and Technology for the 2025-2030 term.

Delivering his directive speech, comrade Nguyễn Văn Đoạt urged the Party Committee to enhance advisory capacity and policy implementation, promote science and technology development in tandem with innovation and digital transformation, and accelerate the application of scientific and technological achievements into practice. He also emphasized the need to continue investing in digital platforms, developing high-quality human resources, improving the leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party organization, and building a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party Committee.
