Immediately after organizational stabilization, the Executive Board and Standing Board of the Pu Nhi commune Party Committee prioritized key tasks, especially the leadership and direction of organizing the Party Congress in accordance with the directives and guidance of higher-level authorities.
Nguyễn Xuân Đạt, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Pu Nhi commune Party Committee, shared: “Recognizing that the first Party Congress is the commune’s central political mission in 2025, the Standing Committee has focused its efforts, promoting unity and responsibility in leading and directing comprehensive and thorough preparations to ensure the Congress proceeds as planned and achieves its set goals.”
To ensure synchronous and effective preparations, the commune Party Committee established specialized subcommittees on documents, dissemination, and logistics, assigning tasks clearly and avoiding overlaps. Each subcommittee developed specific plans with defined objectives and timelines, forming a cohesive, well-coordinated system.

The Dissemination and Logistics Subcommittee held meetings to identify key responsibilities and enhance communication about the meaning and importance of the Congress, as well as the commune’s socio-economic achievements since the merger. These efforts aim to inspire confidence and unity among cadres, Party members, and the public. The information campaign is being carried out extensively before, during, and after the congress, using various engaging formats to foster a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere across the commune.
One urgent task is the consolidation and organization of congresses for newly established affiliated Party cells. Currently, Pu Nhi commune has 38 Party cells with 560 Party members. Most village-level Party cells have completed their congresses. The remaining five newly formed cells, those of the Party Office, Commune People’s Committee, Military, Police, and Health sectors, are scheduled to complete their congresses by July 25.
The drafting of congress documents is being given special attention. The commune Party Committee has directed the Document Subcommittee to urgently develop a detailed outline for the political report. Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Xuân Đạt added:
“We requested that the professional departments of the former communes review and consolidate all performance data from the previous term to produce a unified, comprehensive report. The report must truthfully reflect achievements while frankly acknowledging limitations and shortcomings. Based on this, the Party Committee will define strategic orientations, tasks, and specific targets for the upcoming term. The draft political report is expected to be completed by July 31 for public consultation.”
Alongside the drafting process, personnel preparations are being conducted strictly, democratically, and in line with procedures. The commune Party Building Team has been assigned to review Party member lists across all cells to form the basis for nominating delegates and preparing personnel plans for representation at higher-level Party congresses. Additionally, subordinate Party cells have been directed to organize discussions and collect members’ feedback on the draft political documents for both higher-level and commune-level Party congresses.
The first Pu Nhi commune Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term is scheduled to take place between August 15 and 25. In this new context, with a larger geographical area, greater population, and higher development demands, the congress holds great strategic importance. With the diligent, serious, and responsible preparations of the entire political system, along with the unity and consensus among the Party and the people, the congress is expected to be a resounding success. It will mark a crucial milestone in building a strong Party organization capable of leading the commune toward comprehensive development in the new era.
