Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính conveyed the heartfelt condolences of Party General Secretary Tô Lâm and other Party and State leaders to people of Tìa Dình commune, who have suffered severe losses due to the floods.

He reaffirmed that the Party and State always care for the people and will work closely with local authorities to identify timely support measures.

The Prime Minister praised the locality’s effective implementation of the “four-on-the-spot” disaster response approach, as well as the swift and determined efforts of the police and military forces in promptly carrying out flood recovery measures, ensuring transportation access, and providing timely assistance to affected households.

In the coming period, the Prime Minister requested the local government to plan safe residential areas for commune residents, and to step up reforestation efforts to cover bare hills, prevent soil erosion, and reduce landslide risks.

He also called on organizations, businesses, individuals, officials, and people nationwide to promote the spirit of great national solidarity and join hands to support flood-affected communities, contributing whatever they can.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính presented 20 gift packages to families in Tìa Dình commune who lost relatives, suffered injuries, or sustained damage to their homes and property in the recent floods.
