The comrades in attendance at the center’s opening included Mùa A Sơn, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Lò Thị Minh Phượng, Member of the Standing Board, Head of the provincial Committee for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization; Vừ A Bằng, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; along with representatives from central and local news and press agencies covering the congress.

The Press Center for the 15th provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, was established to guide, support, and facilitate the timely and accurate provision of information and documents regarding the content and developments of the Congress. It aims to create the most favorable conditions for media agencies from within and outside the province to professionally cover and vividly reflect the will and aspirations of party members and the people of the province. At the same time, it will spread the spirit of solidarity, innovation, and the important development orientations set forth by the Congress.

The Press Center for the 15th provincial Party Congress will operate from October 14 to 16, 2025. The center ensures adequate facilities, information technology infrastructure, security, and order, and provides maximum support for reporters and editors from press agencies inside and outside the province to work and update information directly, fully, conveniently, and officially about the activities and atmosphere of the 15th provincial Party Congress to the people in the province and across the country.

To ensure the Press Center operates with maximum effectiveness in serving the Congress, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Mùa A Sơn requested that each reporter and editor working at the Congress uphold a spirit of responsibility, comply with the Press Law and the professional code of ethics for journalists. He asked them to operate in their designated areas, maintain discipline and order, and ensure security throughout the Congress. He stressed that the press should focus on reflecting the Congress’s developments objectively, truthfully, accurately, and comprehensively, and spread the spirit of innovation, the aspiration for development, and the trust and consensus of the ethnic peoples of Điện Biên province. He also urged provincial agencies, departments, and branches, especially the Press Center, to proactively coordinate and provide complete, timely, and official information, creating the most favorable conditions for the teams of reporters and editors to successfully complete their tasks.
