Immersed in the atmosphere of excitement and pride, officials, party members, and people of Điện Biên province are looking towards the Congress, placing full faith and expectation in creative and breakthrough decisions for the development of the country and the province.
Currently, there are a total of 358 cooperatives in the province, of which 231 are operating with nearly 10,000 members; total charter capital is over VND 1,000 billion. In recent years, the development of cooperatives has always been associated with the advantages of each locality, contributing to innovating production methods, creating jobs, and improving income for the people. To date, the average income of members and workers in cooperatives has reached VND 62 million/year. However, cooperatives still face many difficulties, especially regarding investment capital sources, production infrastructure, market access ability, and high-tech application.
The Phìn Hồ Agricultural Cooperative, Si Pa Phìn commune, was established in August 2024, specializing in producing dried meat specialties. Khoàng Thị Thoa, a member of the cooperative, shared: “We expect the 14th National Party Congress will have more guidelines supporting cooperatives, especially regarding preferential loans, technical transfer, digital transformation, trade promotion, and product brand building. These are important factors helping to improve competitiveness in the context of increasingly deep integration. If supported in a timely manner, we will boldly invest in expanding production, improving product quality, and creating stable and sustainable jobs for the people.”
Born and raised during the period of the country’s renewal, integration, and strong development, today’s young generation carries a dynamic, creative spirit and an aspiration to dedicate. Looking towards the 14th National Party Congress, many union members and youths expressed pride in living in a period when the country is transforming strongly, while entrusting many expectations for the future.
Tao Thị Hường, Vice Chairperson of the Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union of Nà Hỳ commune, said: “Currently, the youth have many opportunities to study, establish careers, and start businesses. However, we also hope the Party and the State continue to have more practical policies so that young people, especially those in remote, isolated, and border villages, can boldly be creative, dare to think, and dare to do.”
According to Hường, in the context of strong digital transformation, expanding training programs on digital skills, professional skills, and young leadership skills is extremely necessary, helping the youth adapt to new requirements of the labor market, step by step mastering technology, and contributing actively to local development. Besides, educating on revolutionary ideals, fostering patriotism, and the spirit of self-reliance and self-strengthening continue to be important foundations for the young generation to have firm political mettle and live responsibly with the community and the Fatherland.
At villages, hamlets, and residential areas, dissemination work regarding the 14th National Party Congress is being deployed deeply and widely, helping the people clearly understand the meaning and importance of this momentous political event. Thereby, the people’s faith and expectations are increasingly clearly demonstrated.
Lò Văn Muôn, a resident of Tủa Chùa commune, expressed: “We trust very much in the leadership of the Party. Hope that after the Congress, people’s lives will continue to be improved, especially traffic infrastructure, electricity, water, schools, and medical stations in rural areas.”
Reality shows that in rural, highland, and border areas in the province, infrastructure remains a “bottleneck” that needs to be prioritized for removal to promote socio-economic development. Expanded concrete roads, synchronously invested irrigation works, and upgraded electricity and domestic water systems help people travel and produce conveniently and open up new opportunities for tourism and service development. The people expect that policies promoting production, sustainable poverty reduction, and ensuring long-term livelihoods will continue to be paid attention to and deployed.
“We wish to have more livelihood support models, vocational training, and job creation so that people can proactively rise up to escape poverty and stabilize their lives,” Sùng A Sìa, Secretary of the Party Cell of Ma Lù Thàng village, Mường Tùng commune, shared.
Officials, party members, and the people of Điện Biên province are placing their faith and development aspirations towards the 14th National Party Congress. Orientations and decisions from the Congress are expected to continue arousing the spirit of solidarity, creating new momentum to lead the country to develop strongly in the new period.
