Attending the event were: Mùa A Sơn, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of provincial Party Organs; Mùa A Vảng, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Organs.

According to the decisions announced at the conference: The Party Committee of the VFF of Điện Biên province, under the Party Committee of provincial Party Organs, is officially established with 14 affiliated party organizations and 199 party members. The Party Committee of the Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper, also under the Party Committee of provincial Party Organs, is established on the basis of merging the Party Cell of the former Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper and the Party Committee of the former provincial Radio and Television. It comprises 7 affiliated party organizations with a total of 103 party members.

Delivering instructions, comrade Mùa A Sơn emphasized the need for the two new Party Committees to urgently strengthen their organizational apparatus, promptly issue working regulations, clearly assign duties, and ensure democratic centralism in leadership. The focus should be on Party building, internal political affairs, and ideological work for staff and party members. He also highlighted the importance of exemplary leadership, professionalism, and innovation to effectively connect the Party, government, and people.

For the Party Committee of the Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper, he urged the unit to strengthen policy monitoring and public feedback at the local level, promote ethnic solidarity, and innovate media content and formats in the direction of modernization and digital transformation to better reflect public concerns.

In his remarks, Vũ Văn Thượng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of the Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper, acknowledged the honor and responsibility entrusted by the Party. He affirmed that the Party Committee will focus on enhancing the quality of content and format across all four types of media: print, electronic, radio, and television, including social media platforms. The goal is to ensure swift, accurate, humane information that serves the interests of the people and the province’s development.

He also emphasized building a team of politically steadfast, professionally competent, and ethically upright journalists and party members who are committed to their work and audiences. The Party Committee will uphold discipline, encourage innovation, and strive to build a clean, strong Party organization capable of fulfilling all assigned political tasks.
