Mường Chà seeks feedback on draft political report for its 21st Party Congress

ĐBP - On the afternoon of February 7, the Executive Board of the Mường Chà District’s Party Committee, term 2020-2025, convened a conference to collecting public feedback on the first draft of the political report for the 21st District Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The draft political report proposes the theme: “Continuing to enhance the leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party Committee; promoting the strength of national unity; effectively exploiting and utilizing resources, and boosting socio-economic development; ensuring national defense and security; and building Mường Chà into an increasingly strong and prosperous district”.

Over the past five years, Mường Chà District has achieved significant and comprehensive results in all fields, with 16 out of 16 targets met and exceeded. Notably, the economy has grown steadily, with a shifting economic structure in line with the set direction, and a poverty reduction rate averaging 5.55% per annum. Social welfare policies have been effectively implemented, while border sovereignty has been maintained, and political security and social order ensured.

The draft political report outlines 17 specific objectives, five key tasks, and three breakthrough stages for the 2025-2030 term.

Delegates at the conference praised the draft’s logical structure and scientific approach, which aligns with the district’s goals and vision. They contributed valuable and heartfelt opinions to supplement and perfect the draft document, focusing on achieved results, existing limitations, and lessons learned, as well as objectives, directions, breakthrough stages, tasks, and key solutions for the new term.

The conference also disseminated Conclusion No.118-KL/TW, dated January 18, 2025, by the Politburo on adjusting and supplementing certain contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024, by the Politburo (13th tenure) on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Additionally, it deployed directives and guiding documents from the Central, provincial, and district levels on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017, by the 12th Central Party Committee on continuing to renovate and streamline the organizational apparatus in a streamlined, effective, and efficient manner.
