Maintaining security from the grassroots level
The Party Committee of Na Sang commune has just successfully held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. This was chosen as a model congress by the province to draw lessons for other affiliated party organizations. Contributing significantly to this success was the critical role of the police force.

Mr. Trần Hồng Quân, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Commune People’s Committee of Na Sang, said: Based on the congress schedule, the commune police proactively developed plans, advised local Party committees and authorities, and organized the deployment of personnel and resources to ensure absolute security and order in the area.
In particular, prior to the congress, nearly 100 officers from Na Sang commune Police, Traffic Police, Task Force 1266 (under the provincial Police), and local security forces launched an intensive patrol and inspection campaign. They focused on strictly handling violations related to public security, traffic order, and public order, while strengthening prevention, detection, and suppression of criminal activities and violations of law in the locality.
In Sín Thầu commune, under the directives of the provincial Party Committee, the provincial Police leadership, and local authorities, the commune police, acting as the core force, regularly coordinated closely with the military, border guards, security teams, village elders, hamlet chiefs, and respected community figures. They maintained a firm grasp of the local situation and promptly handled emerging issues, preventing any impact on the congress schedule and quality.

Mr. Đặng Thành Huy, Secretary of the Sín Thầu commune Party Committee, noted: “Our border area contains many potential complexities, so monitoring households, residents, and population movements is a central and constant task. We direct our commune police to work closely with border guards to patrol and control trails and crossings, promptly stopping illegal border crossings, while proactively preventing and combating illegal religious proselytizing and divisive activities that threaten national unity.”
Determined to crack down on crime
Recognizing the Party congress at all levels as a highly significant political event, the Provincial Police developed plans and implemented comprehensive professional measures to attack and suppress crime throughout the province.
Demonstrating strong determination, on July 30, the provincial Police launched a special high‑intensity campaign to ensure security for the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day (September 2), and the Party congresses for the 2025-2030 term.

The campaign runs from August 1 to September 15, 2025, during which police across the province are focusing on: Maintaining a firm grasp of the local situation, detecting and resolving issues at the grassroots level to prevent security “hot spots,” and strongly combating crimes such as drug trafficking, theft, cyber fraud, and human trafficking.
Administrative security management is also being tightened, particularly in residency control, fire prevention, and traffic safety.
Alongside these measures, the provincial Police are coordinating with all levels and sectors to ensure comprehensive support for the congress: accommodation and transportation for delegates, communications, logistics, healthcare, and more, following the principle of thorough preparation, careful organization, and absolute safety.
At the campaign’s launch ceremony, Senior Colonel Vũ Văn Đấu, Director of the provincial Police, emphasized: “From now until the end of the year, many major political events will take place. This is when hostile and reactionary forces may increase sabotage activities, and crime and social evils may become more complex. Therefore, the police force must remain highly vigilant, taking early and proactive measures to prevent surprises.”

The 2025-2030 Party congresses at all levels are considered a particularly important event, opening a new stage of development for the province and the country. Protecting the congress is the responsibility of the entire political system and all people, with the police force as the core vanguard, directly engaged in safeguarding ideological strongholds, political security, and social order.
With high determination and readiness, the provincial Police and grassroots police forces are performing a “dual mission”: maintaining peace while ensuring the congress takes place safely, solemnly, and in full compliance with regulations. With the unity, consensus, and effort of the entire political system, the Party Congress at all levels is expected to be a resounding success, meeting the trust and expectations of Party members and the people of all ethnic groups in the province.
