In Na Sang commune, public security work for the provincial Party Congress has been carried out in a coordinated and practical manner, closely aligned with the local situation. The commune police have proactively advised the Party Committee and local authorities on security plans, conducted thorough reviews, and closely monitored political security and social order, especially in key and complex areas. Nearly one hundred officers from the commune police, traffic police, Task Force 1266 of the provincial police, and local security teams have been patrolling around the clock, maintaining tight control over the area, strictly handling violations, and safeguarding vital routes and sites. The commune police have also stepped up communication and community engagement, encouraging residents to remain vigilant, resist hostile propaganda, and actively join the “All People Protect National Security” movement to maintain stability and order in the lead-up to the congress.

In border communes such as Sín Thầu and Mường Nhé, local police have worked closely with border guards, the military, and community security teams to patrol trails and crossings, strictly manage population movements, prevent illegal entry and exit, and combat unauthorized religious propagation and attempts to sow division among ethnic groups.

Specialized units of the provincial police have simultaneously deployed measures to combat crimes, particularly those related to drugs, theft, cyber fraud, and human trafficking. They have strengthened administrative management, fire prevention and control, traffic safety, and oversight of conditional business operations. Hundreds of officers have been dispatched to grassroots areas to work directly with local people, raise awareness of law compliance, and promote the “All People Protect National Security” movement in connection with local political missions.

The police force has also coordinated closely with relevant sectors and localities to ensure logistics, internal security, information safety, healthcare, and transportation. Every aspect, from accommodation and travel for delegates to communication systems, technical safety checks, and fire prevention, has been meticulously prepared and tightly managed to guarantee absolute safety.

Ensuring security and safety for the 15th provincial Party Congress has been identified by the provincial police as a core political mission in 2025. The force has proactively developed and executed protection plans, mobilized collective strength, and upheld a spirit of initiative, creativity, solidarity, and close coordination with all departments and levels of government to secure the event. Alongside maintaining public order, the provincial police have launched a special emulation campaign titled “For a Peaceful Điện Biên - For the Success of the 15th Provincial Party Congress.” This campaign has inspired enthusiasm and motivation among officers, encouraging them to uphold responsibility, stay close to the grassroots, and embody the motto “Proactive Security - Absolute Safety - Responsibility in Serving the People.” Through these efforts, the police have helped strengthen public trust and fostered a spirit of unity and optimism among citizens as they look forward to the congress with renewed confidence and expectation.
