Điện Biên provincial Party Committee announces key personnel appointments

ĐBP - On the afternoon of July 1, the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions by the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee regarding the appointment of key personnel.

The event also included the announcement of decisions by the Standing Board of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) recognizing new leadership positions within the Standing Board of the provincial VFF Committee.

Provincial leaders present decisions to newly appointed members of the Standing Board of the Điện Biên provincial VFF’s Party Committee for the 2024-2029 term.

According to Decision No.482/QĐ-MTTW-BTT, dated June 21, issued by the Central Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the leadership positions for the 2024-2029 term of the Standing Board of the Điện Biên provincial VFF’s Party Committee include seven officials. Namely, Mùa A Vảng was appointed Chairman of the Điện Biên provincial VFF Committee; Tẩn Minh Long was appointed Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee and concurrently serves as Chairman of the provincial Confederation of Labor; Trần Quý Hùng was appointed Vice Chairman in charge of the provincial Farmers’ Association; Mùa Chiến Thắng was appointed Vice Chairman in charge of the provincial Youth Union; Pờ Diệu Ninh was appointed Vice Chairwoman in charge of the provincial Women’s Union; Lưu Trọng Lư was appointed Vice Chairman and concurrently Chairman of the provincial Veterans’ Association; and Nguyễn Tiến Dũng was appointed Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee.

Under Decision No.6566-QĐ/TU dated June 19, the provincial Party Committee established the Điện Biên provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Agency, effective from July 1, 2025.

Provincial leaders hand over appointment decisions to reassigned officials.

At the same conference, the provincial Party Committee also announced decisions to assign and reassign six key officials. Namely, Hà Quang Trung, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên Phủ city Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Điện Biên Phủ city, was appointed Deputy Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission. Lý Thanh Tiềm, Secretary of the Nậm Pồ district Party Committee, was appointed Deputy Chief of the provincial Party Committee Office. Lỳ Lỳ Xá, Chairwoman of the provincial Farmers’ Association, was appointed Deputy Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education, and Mass Mobilization. Cao Thị Tuyết Lan, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên district Party Committee, and Chairwoman of the district People’s Council, was also appointed Deputy Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education, and Mass Mobilization. Bùi Minh Hải, Secretary of the Mường Nhé district Party Committee, was appointed Deputy Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs. Trần Quý Hùng, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Điện Biên Phủ city, was appointed Vice Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee, responsible for overseeing activities of the provincial Farmers’ Association.

All newly appointed officials assume their positions starting July 1, 2025.
