Mark of the term
With a spirit of unity, strong determination, and solid faith in the Party’s leadership, Chiềng Sinh commune overcame difficulties during the 2020 - 2025 term to effectively implement the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels. The commune’s Party Committee strived to achieve important results in the fields of socio-economics, national defense and security, and the building of the Party and political system. Chiềng Sinh specified these goals into plans and programs suited to its practical conditions and promoted communication and dissemination of the congress resolutions to officials, Party members, and all classes of people. This served as a basis for organizing emulation movements in labor and production, socio-economic development, and maintaining security and order.
The commune’s economy has continued to grow and shift in the right direction, with most key targets meeting or exceeding those set by the resolution of the commune’s Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term. Positive results were achieved in economic, infrastructure, poverty reduction, and new rural development targets. In particular, the agricultural structure has shifted significantly. Chiềng Sinh identified crops suitable for the local climate and soil conditions, replacing inefficient upland crops with the development of 579 hectares of macadamia and 11.7 hectares of coffee, while maintaining a stable 628 hectares of rubber trees.

A clear highlight of the past term was Chiềng Sinh’s success in mobilizing all resources to invest in developing a synchronous socio-economic infrastructure system. To date, the commune has achieved an average of 16.2 out of 19 new rural criteria. One hundred percent of its villages have car-accessible roads from the commune center; a new inter-commune road has been opened, creating regional connectivity (Nà Sáy - Chiềng Sinh - Chiềng Đông); and 26 out of 28 villages are connected to the national power grid. Investments in transport, irrigation, schools, and health stations have created favorable conditions for production, trade, education, and healthcare for the people. Public investment capital has contributed to perfecting the socio-economic infrastructure, changing the face of rural areas, and enabling people to access and use essential public services. It has also created jobs, stimulated consumption, promoted the restructuring of the rural economy, and attracted investment to the area.
Mr. Lò Văn Tính, a resident of Ly Xôm village in Chiềng Sinh commune, said: "With the attentive leadership and direction of the Party committees and authorities at all levels, the material and spiritual lives of the people have improved significantly. Thanks to being supported with seedlings to develop our economic model, my family has now escaped poverty and become a well-off household."
New thinking, new vision
Chiềng Sinh commune was established on the basis of merging four communes: Chiềng Sinh, Nà Sáy, Mường Thín, and Mường Khong, with a total natural area of 209km²; it consists of 28 villages, 3,222 households, and over 15,200 people. The commune’s Party Committee has 44 subordinate party cells and committees, with 820 Party members. Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the commune has set key targets to serve as a guide for its journey of sustainable development as it operates under a two-level local government model in the context of the country entering a new era of development.
Hà Cầm Hồng, Secretary of the Chiềng Sinh commune Party Committee, stated: “Promoting the potential and advantages of our natural conditions and land, right after the merger, Chiềng Sinh identified that economic development must be linked to restructuring agricultural production towards concentrated commodity-based farming. We will ensure we attract and accompany investors to build and operate agricultural production and processing plants. The commune is focused on integrating capital sources and national target programs for investment in socio-economic infrastructure and mobilizing resources to build new rural areas. The goal for Chiềng Sinh by 2030 is to increase the average per capita income by 59% compared to 2025 (from VND 36.4 million to VND 58 million). We strive to make Chiềng Sinh a locality of sustainable socio-economic development, worthy of the people’s trust and expectations.”
Entering the new term, Chiềng Sinh faces both opportunities and challenges. With the efforts of the entire political system, it is believed that under the leadership of the commune’s Party Committee, the officials, Party members, and people of the area will unite to build and lead Chiềng Sinh forward with steady steps in its economic and social development, improving the lives of its residents.
