At the conference, delegates were introduced to five main topics, including new regulations on: digital archiving and the application of technology in archival operations; archiving paper records and information-bearing materials; development of archival human resources; regulations on archival service activities; and promoting the value of archival documents, including the Vietnam Archives Day.

Delegates also received an overview of the new provisions in the legal system on archives to meet the requirements of Resolution No.57-NQ/TW, Resolution No.66-NQ/TW, and Resolution No.68-NQ/TW of the Politburo.

The training conference helped agencies and organizations under management authority, as well as officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers, to fully understand the provisions and individual responsibilities defined in the 2024 Archives Law.

It also directed the review of legal documents and the drafting, promulgation, amendment, supplementation, and replacement of regulations to comply with the 2024 Archives Law and its guiding documents.
