Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Trần Tiến Dũng expressed his joy at welcoming the working delegation of the China Pacific Construction Group to visit and learn about Điện Biên province. The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee outlined the socio-economic development results of Điện Biên province in 2025 and introduced the province’s outstanding potentials and advantages in developing agriculture, forestry, tourism - services, renewable energy, industry, and infrastructure construction.

The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee informed the delegation that in the coming time, the province will focus on leading and directing investment and development in a number of key areas, including: Perfecting the socio-economic infrastructure system towards synchronization and modernity, taking transportation as a breakthrough stage; investing in developing technical infrastructure and social infrastructure in wards and communes to promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development. Along with that, the province focuses on developing the construction - industry sector, prioritizing advantageous industries such as deep processing of agricultural and forestry products; construction material production; clean energy, renewable energy, and high-tech industry.

Emphasizing the significance of the meeting, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee affirmed that this is an opportunity for both sides to exchange and research the possibility of organizing the implementation of investment projects in the field of urban development, building commercial, service, and cultural centers according to the province’s zoning planning; simultaneously promoting tourism projects, developing industrial zones, and constructing works to effectively promote the potential and advantages of Điện Biên province.

Yan Jiehe, founder of the China Pacific Construction Group, expressed his joy at visiting and working in Điện Biên province. He highly appreciated the local economic development potential in many fields, noting that Điện Biên has many advantages in resources, simultaneously possessing majestic, beautiful natural landscapes and very friendly, hospitable people.

Informing at the working session, Yan Jiehe said that the Group plans to establish a company in the Northwestern region, with an office located in Điện Biên province. The company will research investment and construction of works exploiting hot spring potential, and simultaneously develop industrial zones in the province. Thereby contributing to increasing budget revenue, promoting economic growth, and creating more jobs for local people.

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Trần Tiến Dũng acknowledged and thanked the sentiments as well as the plans that the China Pacific Construction Group expects to implement in Điện Biên. Based on this meeting, he hoped that in the coming time, the two sides would reach agreement and cooperate more specifically and closely.
