ĐBP - On the morning of October 8, comrade Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, together with a working delegation, inspected the progress of the Si Pa Phìn Inter-level Primary and Secondary School Project and held a working session with the commune’s leaders to review the implementation of local tasks in recent months.

Since July 1, 2025, Si Pa Phìn commune has maintained political stability and ensured national defense and security while effectively carrying out its assigned duties. The commune’s political system has continued to be strengthened and streamlined, and its operational quality has improved. The Commune Party Committee has focused on reorganizing and consolidating its staff, ensuring that the apparatus remains compact yet effective. The commune has strictly followed the higher-level directives on personnel management, thoroughly reviewed and classified cadres, civil servants, and public employees based on their qualifications, competencies, and strengths to ensure suitable assignment according to each job’s requirements.

Despite these efforts, the commune still faces difficulties due to the lack of specialized personnel in key fields such as information technology, urban planning, and construction. The commune proposed that the province provide funding for office equipment and housing for officials and civil servants to meet working needs.

Chairman Lê Thành Đô acknowledged and highly appreciated Si Pa Phìn commune’s efforts in effectively implementing the two-tier local government model. He requested the commune to continue reviewing and reorganizing its internal structure, particularly within the specialized agencies under the People’s Committee and advisory bodies of the Party Committee and the Fatherland Front. The commune should also assess its staff’s training background, competencies, and expertise to allocate them appropriately according to professional functions.

He emphasized the need to finalize the master plan in accordance with the new administrative boundaries, restructure the agricultural sector, and maintain effective agricultural models while making efficient use of resources from the national target programs. The commune should capitalize on its advantages in trade and services, ensure the effective implementation of social welfare policies, and focus on improving education quality, healthcare, and public health. Chairman Lê Thành Đô also urged the commune to accelerate administrative reform, promote the application of science and technology, and advance digital transformation across all sectors while maintaining firm national defense and security.

Following the meeting, Chairman Lê Thành Đô and the delegation inspected the progress of the Si Pa Phìn Inter-level Primary and Secondary School Project, which has a total investment of over VND 228 billion. After more than two months of construction, all building components of the project have been initiated, with 97% of the ground leveling completed.

The project investor was reminded to strictly follow the approved master plan and increase green space in the school area, while the Department of Construction was tasked with strengthening quality inspection.

Regarding the renovation of National Highway 4H running through the school area, Chairman Lê Thành Đô instructed the Department of Construction to study appropriate solutions and implement them in 2026. He also requested the Si Pa Phìn commune authorities to promptly prepare an operational plan for the school, particularly in arranging teachers and students, so that teaching activities can begin immediately after the project’s completion.
