The review and suspension will also apply to projects that have not yet begun construction, including new buildings for provincial-level administrative agencies, except in cases where repairs or improvements to facilities are necessary for regular operations. These projects must be reported to the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee through the Department of Finance by March 15, 2025.

Additionally, the purchase of equipment and working vehicles (including cars) for administrative agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and political-social organizations will also be temporarily halted, except in cases where equipment is deemed absolutely necessary for professional work.

The Provincial People’s Committee has requested that relevant agencies, units, and localities cooperate closely, proactively report any difficulties or obstacles in order to receive timely guidance and solutions. The relevant units, including the Department of Finance, Department of Construction, and Department of Home Affairs, will oversee and assist in the implementation of these directives.
