Provincial conference focuses on governance reform

ĐBP - Efforts to reform and streamline the political system took centre stage at a provincial conference on Thursday, which reviewed the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, issued by the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party on October 25, 2017.

Hosted by the provincial Party Committee, the conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, with attendees joining from districts, cities, and towns across Điện Biên Province.

In his opening remarks, he urged participants to engage in meaningful discussions, offer constructive feedback, and contribute to the draft reports that will shape the province’s restructuring initiatives.

The conference was chaired by Trần Quốc Cường, with support from Standing Deputy Secretary Mùa A Sơn, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Lò Văn Phương, and Head of the Organisation Commission Phạm Khắc Quân.

Attendees included senior provincial leaders, members of the Provincial Party Committee, and representatives from various local agencies and organisations.
