ĐBP - Điện Biên is a locality where over 80% of the population is ethnic minorities, residing sparsely in remote areas with complex terrain and difficult travel. Religious and belief activities have many unique characteristics, closely tied to the cultural life and customs of people. This requires officials, party members, especially armed forces, those who are directly in touch with people, villages, and areas, to be fully equipped with knowledge about ethnic groups and religion to effectively carry out mass mobilization, communication, and advocacy, contributing to firmly safeguarding the nation’s borders.
ĐBP – Recently, the Điện Biên provincial Police’s Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Division, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, organized a series of activities to promote online safety skills for students as part of the “Not Alone” campaign. The activity aims to raise awareness and equip students with self-protection skills against the increasingly sophisticated risks of scams, enticement, and online kidnapping in cyberspace.

Many models of community tourism, eco-tourism, and agro-tourism in an environmentally friendly direction are being implemented, both attracting tourists and creating livelihoods for local people.
ĐBP - The seasonal transition is a period when infectious diseases such as bacillary dysentery, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, dengue fever, seasonal influenza, chickenpox, etc., are at high risk of outbreak, especially in collective environments like schools. Clearly aware of this, educational institutions in the province have been proactively implementing many synchronous solutions to protect students’ health and build a safe, clean, and friendly learning environment.
ĐBP - In recent years, heavy rains and floods have caused severe damage, with many families losing their homes and agricultural land, forced to live in temporary shelters. Despite the local government’s efforts to implement relocation and resettlement projects, hundreds of households are still situated in high-risk areas. This situation calls for more comprehensive and sustainable solutions from local authorities and relevant agencies.
