Recognizing public outreach and mobilization as a central task - the key to consolidating and enhancing the great national unity bloc - the VFF committees have actively disseminated the Party’s resolutions and the State’s policies and laws to raise public awareness. The messaging has been diverse and continuously refreshed, focusing on the implementation of the Party’s directives and resolutions, legal policies, and patriotic emulation movements. Specific topics include: The 13th national Party Congress Resolution, the 14th provincial Party Congress Resolution for the 2020 - 2025 term; outcomes of the 15th National Assembly and provincial People’s Council sessions for the 2021- 2026 term; and the campaign to study and follow President Hồ Chí Minh’s ideology, ethics, and lifestyle.

A variety of communication methods have been employed such as direct outreach by grassroots-level front officials, collaboration with local authorities in organizing campaigns and movements, and leveraging the influence of respected community figures, clan leaders, village elders, and exemplary individuals. The provincial VFF Committee has also partnered with the Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television to expand media coverage, maintaining a monthly column titled “Great national unity,” regularly updating content on its official website, and enhancing its presence through the system-wide fanpage to ensure timely and effective information dissemination.

According to Quàng Văn Phong, Vice President of the Điện Biên provincial VFF Committee, the organization regularly monitors grassroots developments and hosts forums to hear citizens’ thoughts and legitimate concerns. In 2024 alone, the VFF committees at all levels issued 71 public opinion reports and organized 245 public consultation meetings. Ethnic and religious affairs were also actively monitored, ensuring that religious practices comply with legal regulations, align with Party policies, and reflect a spirit of “living a good secular and spiritual life”.

Every year, 100% of residential areas in the province hold the “Great national unity day”, featuring a range of activities such as the donation of solidarity houses, visits and support for disadvantaged households, gifts for policy beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors, respected individuals, and role models, along with communal unity meals. These events have become major political activities that strengthen the national solidarity bloc and serve as a bridge between the Party, government, and the people.

Notably, the VFF committees have effectively implemented national campaigns and patriotic movements, garnering widespread public support. Movements such as “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities,” “Building a cultured lifestyle,” “The entire population protects national security,” and “Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese products” have gained significant traction and yielded tangible results.

Through sustained efforts in outreach and mobilization, the VFF committees have helped raise public consciousness, successfully disseminated the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and laws, fostered social cohesion, and united the people among people from all walks of life. These efforts continue to reinforce and promote the strength of national unity in building and safeguarding the country.
