Focusing on dissemination ahead of Party congresses at all levels

ĐBP - In preparation for the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, leading up to the 15th Điện Biên provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress, the Farmers’ Association of Điện Biên Phủ city has implemented a wide range of practical and comprehensive dissemination activities to raise awareness among all members. This aims to create unity in understanding and action, as well as foster a spirited emulation movement to welcome the congresses.

Recognizing the dissemination work about the Party congresses at all levels as a key task, the Standing Committee of the city’s Farmers’ Association has issued plans and guided all association levels to carry out dissemination using diverse and flexible forms to meet the information access needs of cadres and farmer members. These include meetings of grassroots groups, social networks such as Zalo and Facebook, and local broadcasting systems. The dissemination content focuses on the importance of the Party congresses at all levels; the Communist Party of Vietnam’s development through past congresses; promoting patriotic emulation movements to celebrate the congresses at all levels, leading to the 15th provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress; and communicating about “The country’s achievements, potentials, international position and prestige after 40 years of renovation”; “Opportunities, challenges and historical responsibilities of the Party in leading the country forward in the new era.”

Đỗ Thành Công, Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of Điện Biên Phủ city, shared: The association has 12 grassroots units in communes and wards, 179 grassroots groups in residential groups and villages, with 10,719 members. At this time, we identify dissemination about the Party congresses at all levels as an important political task contributing to raising awareness and creating political, ideological, and action consensus among cadres and farmer members. Through this, we gradually build a politically strong team of farmers who absolutely trust in the Party’s leadership. The Standing Committee has directed all levels of the association to promote dissemination linked to patriotic emulation movements so that the spirit of welcoming the Party congresses at all levels is expressed not only in slogans and banners but also in the specific, practical actions of each member.

The Farmers’ Sub-association of Tà Lèng village, Thanh Minh commune (Điện Biên Phủ city) disseminates to local farmers about the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Patriotic emulation movements such as “Farmers striving for excellent production and business, solidarity to help each other prosper and sustainably reduce poverty,” “Farmers participating in building civilized urban areas,” and “Farmers participating in ensuring national defense and security” have been widely implemented throughout the grassroots.

Recently, the city’s Farmers’ Association has recognized 459 households achieving excellent production and business titles at various levels: 314 at grassroots level, 112 at city level, 35 at provincial level, and 8 meeting central criteria. The city has many exemplary farmers excelling economically in agriculture, forestry, handicrafts, and services with incomes from VND 150 million/year or more. Notable members include Bùi Văn Thanh from Mường Thanh ward with a cattle and goat farming model; and Hoàng Đình Hiên from Noong Bua ward with deer, snake, goat farming and fruit growing models. The farmers’ sub-association of communes and wards have mobilized members and farmers to contribute over VND 12 billion, 200 labor days, and 7,600sq.m of land for construction and maintenance of welfare works.

In Thanh Minh commune, the Farmers’ Sub-association of Tà Lèng village has organized many grassroots group meetings integrated with the theme “Farmers and the Party congresses at all levels.” Through these, members have gained a clearer understanding of the significance and importance of the Party congresses at all levels.

Quàng Văn Hoa, Head of the Farmers’ Sub-association of Tà Lèng village, said: Tà Lèng village mainly consists of ethnic minorities such as Khơ Mú, Mông, and Thái. Therefore, to help members understand this important political event better, we not only disseminate through village loudspeakers, the Zalo group of the grassroots association, and group meetings but also directly visit each household and individual. As a result, members grasp the importance of the Party congresses at all levels, better understand the Party’s leadership role, and are determined to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements. Currently, no member household in the association is poor, and many have economic models with incomes of VND 100 million/year or more.

With solidarity, responsibility, and strong political determination, the Farmers’ Association of Điện Biên Phủ city continues to promote its core role in dissemination and mobilization, encouraging members to actively join patriotic emulation movements, thereby contributing to a vibrant atmosphere leading up to the Party congresses at all levels. Through this, it also helps successfully fulfill local political tasks and affirms the association’s role and position in the cause of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
