Emulation drive launched towards Party congresses

ĐBP - In a meaningful effort to celebrate the upcoming Party congresses at all levels for the 2025- 2030 term, the Điện Biên provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched an emulation movement among its entire workforce, including officials, civil servants, and employees. The campaign aims to foster a vibrant atmosphere of competition and engagement, encouraging staff to achieve the set goals and tasks.

According to Đoàn Văn Chì, Deputy Director of the department, the movement seeks to ignite patriotism and a spirit of self-reliance, mobilize collective strength, and create a broad-based political engagement within the agency. Early in the year, the department initiated a special emulation campaign under the theme: “High determination, great effort, decisive action”, aimed at accomplishing and exceeding the cultural, sports, and tourism development targets for the 2021-2025 period. The initiative also honors the Party congresses at all levels, the 15th Điện Biên provincial Party Congress, the 6th provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025- 2030), and other major political events and national holidays in 2025.

The sector’s emulation content focuses on reinforcing information dissemination efforts and thoroughly disseminating the Party’s guidelines, State’s laws, and President Hồ Chí Minh’s ideology on patriotic emulation. It promotes large-scale campaigns and patriotic movements launched by the Prime Minister, central ministries, and the province. These align closely with the sector’s assigned targets and missions. Notable campaigns include: “The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas,” “For the poor - Leaving no one behind,” “Officials and civil servants emulate a culture of public service,” and “The whole country works together to eliminate dilapidated housing by 2025.”

In the lead-up to the Party congresses for the 2025-2030 term, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has actively promoted publications on the Communist Party of Vietnam, past congresses, and the country’s achievements in renewal.

The department also encourages its collectives and individuals to showcase initiative, creativity, and commitment to excellence through practical and impactful actions. Additionally, it is organizing various cultural, artistic, and sporting events to celebrate the Party congresses, heading toward the 15th provincial Party Congress.

In response to the emulation drive, the department has stepped up communications about the Party congresses at all levels through a variety of channels: public displays via billboards, posters, slogans, banners, and flags; mobile film screenings; broadcasting via loudspeakers at the cinema theater; and publication of news and articles on its website and across mass media and social media platforms.

The department has also directed its affiliated units to produce documentaries showcasing the results of the department’s Party Congress Resolution (2020-2025 term), and to host a photo exhibition titled “The Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Điện Biên province - Outstanding achievements,” featuring nearly 100 photos.

Furthermore, the department is enhancing the dissemination and display of publications, documents, mobile libraries, and films related to the Party congresses. It is organizing book exhibitions, cultural exchanges, and musical performances to celebrate the events.

The department’s Center for Culture and Cinema has been one of the most active units in organizing meaningful activities in honor of the Party congresses. All assigned tasks and professional duties have been fulfilled with notable impact. The center has effectively implemented dissemination initiatives through diverse formats: Creating special columns, publishing banners, writing news and articles on the Party congresses; designing promotional templates, erecting a set of billboards and two welcome gates at the 7/5 Square; organizing dozens of art performances for the public; hosting mobile film screenings and book stalls to support political missions. It has also produced a documentary video for the 5th Party Congress of the department (2025-2030 term) and is preparing a musical performance to celebrate the event.
