FPT Group conducted a site survey for the implementation of the FPT Education Complex Project in Điện Biên Province and proposed a location along National Highway 12 in Thanh Trường Ward, Điện Biên Phủ City, covering an area of 10 hectares. This site is within a 48.65-hectare plot that has been approved under the 1/500-scale detailed urban planning for the Northwestern Urban Area of Điện Biên Phủ City, which is part of the 1/5,000-scale zoning plan for the northern area of Điện Biên Phủ City associated with the Điện Biên Airport.

At the meeting, representatives from the provincial Department of Construction presented two options for the land allocation of the FPT Education Complex in Thanh Trường Ward, Điện Biên Phủ City, while also assessing the advantages and disadvantages of each option based on investor proposals.

Mr. Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, delivers remarks at the meeting.

Representatives of FPT Group urged Điện Biên Province to approve the investment policy for the FPT Education Complex Project on the 10-hectare site along National Highway 12 in Thanh Trường Ward, Điện Biên Phủ City. They also requested preferential policies, including full exemption of land lease fees under Decree NDD103/2024, prioritization of infrastructure development to connect with the project, support for site clearance, and facilitation of legal procedures in compliance with regulations. FPT Group committed to investing according to schedule to contribute to the province’s overall development.

Regarding the proposal for 100% land lease fee exemption, Điện Biên Province stated that it would comply with legal regulations. Concerning infrastructure development around the project, Decision 583, which approved the 1/500-scale detailed urban planning for the Northwestern Urban Area of Điện Biên Phủ City, confirmed that the existing technical infrastructure (including roads, water supply, and electricity) was fundamentally in place. Additionally, the proposed project site does not have residential structures, meeting FPT Group’s criteria.

Mr. Lê Trường Tùng, General Director of FPT Education, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPT University, presents proposals to Điện Biên Province.
