Điện Biên Provincial Party Secretary Trần Quốc Cường works with FPT Group

ĐBP - On the morning of February 20 in Hà Nội, a delegation from Điện Biên Province, led by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Trần Quốc Cường, held a working session with FPT Group.

During the meeting, FPT leaders reported on activities and outstanding achievements in technology, telecommunications, and education.

The group proposed the establishment of an FPT Education Complex in Điện Biên Phủ City and several districts, including a university, vocational trainings (elementary, intermediate, and college levels), and a K-12 school system (primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary). The group also suggested cooperation with Điện Biên in developing science and technology, digital transformation, and innovation. Key focuses include digital transformation in state governance, implementing a single-tier public administration model, applying digital data in management and operations, developing the digital economy and society, and training high-quality human resources.

FPT urged Điện Biên Province to support site selection for school construction, assist with legal procedures, and provide investment incentives for education projects in the area. They committed to completing the construction and commencing operations within one year when land and construction related procedures finish.

Speaking at the meeting, Điện Biên Provincial Party Secretary Trần Quốc Cường highly appreciated FPT’s achievements, particularly in technology, telecommunications, and education, which have contributed to advancing science, technology, and education in Vietnam, including Điện Biên.

He urged FPT to promptly collaborate with provincial authorities to select a suitable location and expedite procedures to establish the FPT Education Complex as soon as possible. He also emphasized the need to work with the provincial Department of Information and Communications to advise the province on developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
