Điện Biên consolidates Party organizations in enterprises

ĐBP - In order to enhance the Party’s leadership in all aspects of social life, the province has identified the development of Party organizations and members in private enterprises outside the state-owned sector as an important task. This has been implemented with a variety of coordinated solutions.

Over the past time, Điện Biên province has attached much importance to building strong Party organizations in private enterprises. It not only contributes to enhancing production and business efficiency but also affirms the Party’s role and position in the non-state economic sector.

Tuần Giáo district currently has over 20 private enterprises, primarily operating in the fields of agricultural services and construction investment. These enterprises have provided local employment, stable income, and strictly adhered to the Party’s guidelines, State’s laws, and business regulations.

Alongside the growth in scale and business effectiveness, the development of Party organizations and members in private enterprises has also been prioritized.

According to Trần Hữu Thưởng, Deputy Head of the Organization Sub-comission of the Tuần Giáo district’s Party Committee, over the years, the Standing Board of the committee has always recognized the importance of building and strengthening Party organizations in non-state businesses as an essential political task, closely linked with the Party’s work in the new context.

“We have advised the Standing Board of the committee to create specific programs and plans to develop Party organizations and members in private enterprises. Propaganda and mobilization efforts have been intensified through appropriate forms, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to establish Party organizations and political-social organizations,” said Thưởng.

From 2020 to 2024, Tuần Giáo has established 3 Party cells in businesses, including two in limited liability companies and one in a cooperative. Thanks to coordinated solutions, the district successfully formed another Party cell in 2024 for the Pha Đin Pass Cooperative (Tỏa Tình commune), and in April 2025, a private enterprise Party cell was established in Quài Tở commune.

Mường Chà district has also achieved significant results in developing Party organizations and members in businesses. In 2024, 216 new Party members were inducted, including two from private enterprises. The district has formed a Party cell for the Huổi Vang - Thành Bưởi Hydroelectric Plant. From the beginning of this year, Mường Chà inducted 44 new Party members, including two from private enterprises. The district’s Party Committee now includes 48 grassroots Party organizations with over 3,550 Party members.

Hoàng Văn Nguyên, Head of the Organization Sub-comission of the Mường Chà district’s Party Committee, emphasized that in order to achieve positive results in developing Party organizations and members in non-state businesses, the Standing Board of the committee has focused on leading and implementing a series of directives and resolutions from the Central and provincial levels. Proper understanding of the importance of establishing Party organizations in private enterprises has helped strengthen the political system at the grassroots level.

The practical experiences from the localities show that developing Party organizations and members in private businesses has brought about positive changes. Since the beginning of the term, the province has inducted 10,150 new Party members, with 305 new members in the first four months of 2025. As of April 2025, the provincial Party Committee has 572 grassroots-level Party organizations, including 40 organizations in private enterprises (an increase of 25 from the beginning of the term). These Party organizations have gradually demonstrated their role as political nuclei, leading workers and employees to comply with laws, regulations, and the business’s rules. Party members also actively participate in political education, enhancing organizational awareness, discipline, and protecting workers’ legal rights, fostering stability in production.

With the decisive involvement of local authorities and the support of business owners, Party organizations in the non-state sector have been strengthened, achieving clear results in promoting the region’s economic and social development.
