The committee reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to its mandate, demonstrating strong leadership and rigorous oversight in the fight against corruption and negative practices. Recent efforts have seen active engagement from various levels of authority in implementing directives issued by the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Steering Committee.
This has included stringent enforcement of Politburo regulations on power control and corruption prevention, particularly in personnel management. Additionally, there has been a focus on inspection, supervision, Party discipline, auditing, investigation, prosecution, and law enforcement.
The committee has also prioritised legislative work, including the establishment of new ethical standards for Party members and officials, as well as clarifying procedures that allow leaders to suspend subordinates suspected of serious violations of Party regulations or State laws.
In his concluding remarks, Secretary Trần Quốc Cường commended the collaborative efforts of the various agencies involved, highlighting their effective coordination and shared sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties. He emphasised the need for continued collaboration to ensure that cases are resolved swiftly and in accordance with the law.
Committee members were urged to intensify their efforts to achieve the objectives outlined in the 2024 work plan. Secretary Cường also assigned the provincial Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Department and Office with the task of finalising the meeting’s report, incorporating feedback from attendees, for submission at the Steering Committee’s upcoming 8th session.
