Actively preparing for Party congresses with practical actions

ĐBP - In celebration of the upcoming Party congresses for the 2025-2030 term, the Women’s Union of Nậm Pồ district, Điện Biên province has been implementing many meaningful projects and tasks.

Recognizing the importance of dissemination regarding the Party congresses at all levels, the Nậm Pồ Women’s Union has issued plans and guided local branches to carry out diverse and effective methods of information dissemination, ensuring that all members are informed. The union has encouraged members to actively spread positive, official information about the congress on personal social media platforms. The efforts have been in line with the political and ideological guidance from the local Party committees, ensuring that the campaigns are both meaningful and effective. The focus has been on promoting Marxism-Leninism, Hồ Chí Minh’s thoughts, the 95-year history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the importance of the Party congresses at all levels, and the achievements of the Party through various congresses. Additionally, the union has encouraged the national emulation movement, celebrating the Congress with significant accomplishments.

Since the start of the year, the Nậm Pồ Women’s Union has focused on activities at the grassroots level. Trần Thị Yến, Vice President of the Nậm Pồ Women’s Union, shared: “To make the emulation movements effective and create widespread impact, we guide local branches to choose practical tasks that are suitable for the local conditions, highlighting the role of women and having a tangible impact on members. Local branches have continued to promote the emulation movement ‘Women actively learn, create, and build happy families’ linked to studying and following Hồ Chí Minh’s thoughts, ethics, and style; and nurturing the qualities of Vietnamese women in the period of accelerated industrialization and modernization of the country: ‘Confident, dignified, faithful, and capable’... Through specific tasks and projects, we provide a practical way for women to show their roles and responsibilities in contributing to local development.”

From the beginning of the year, the Nậm Pồ Women’s Union has mobilized women members in Phìn Hồ commune to carry out a flower road project at Km 45. They coordinated with the People’s Committee of Nà Bủng commune and the Nà Bủng Border Post to plant 70 “ban” (bauhinia) flower trees along the central road of the commune. Over 200 members, officers, and students participated in a synchronized dance event; and they launched the model “Women interact friendly with tourists at Chà Nưa commune.”

In areas such as building new-style rural areas, civilized urban development, women’s unions have implemented the “5 No’s, 3 Clean’s” family model and supported women’s entrepreneurship, as well as participation in collective economic development. Many practical projects have been implemented to help with product consumption and housing improvements under the “elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses” program. At the same time, local unions have proactively identified, built, and rewarded individuals and organizations with outstanding achievements during the emulation campaign, linking them to the study and following of Hồ Chí Minh’s thoughts, ethics, and style.

Chớ Thị Mò, President of the Phìn Hồ Women’s Union, shared: “To practically celebrate the Party Congress at all levels, we have carried out a wide range of meaningful dissemination activities, promoting the importance of the congress to all members, creating a unified mindset and atmosphere of enthusiastic emulation. At the same time, we have launched patriotic emulation movements in specific fields, mobilizing women to participate in cleaning the environment to make it bright, green, clean, and beautiful, and carrying out the flower road project.”

The projects and tasks carried out by the Women’s Union at all levels in Nậm Pồ district have contributed significantly to celebrating the Party Congress at all levels, not only providing material value but also spreading the spirit of unity and inspiring women’s determination to progress. With unity and continuous effort, the local unions are making a deep impact, affirming the role of women in the development of a more sustainable Nậm Pồ.
