ĐBP - The year of 2024 was a pivotal and decisive year for the successful implementation of the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, the Resolution of the 14th Điện Biên Provincial Party Congress, and the five-year socio-economic development plan for 2021-2025.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of January 28 (the 29th day of the last lunar month), Mr. Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee, visited, encouraged, and extended greetings to several armed forces and healthcare units on duty during the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday.

Điện Biên Province has implemented its objectives in the context of intertwined challenges and opportunities, particularly severe consequences caused by natural disasters.

ĐBP - On January 25, the Điện Biên Provincial Military Command inspected combat readiness work in its affiliated units performing A2 mission during the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday.

ĐBP - Supporting soldiers who have completed their military service and returned to their hometowns is a priority, always receives special attention to by the Party, State, and military. Hence, practical policies and measures help discharged soldiers stabilize their lives, create opportunities for promoting their competence, and enable continued contribution to their families and society.

ĐBP - On the morning of January 24, on the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết), a delegation of Điện Biên Province’s leaders, led by Mr. Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, laid wreaths and offered incense and flowers in tribute to at the Martyrs’ Temple at the Điện Biên Phủ Battlefield and martyrs’ cemeteries in Điện Biên Phủ City and Điện Biên District.

ĐBP - Chairman of the Điện Biên Provincial People’s Committee Lê Thành Đô recently launched the 2025 Patriotic Emulation Movement, under the theme “Discipline, Responsibility; Streamlined and Efficient; Proactive and Timely; Accelerate and Breakthrough.”

ĐBP - On January 22, on the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday, Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with a delegation, visited, extended greetings, and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families, disadvantaged households, workers, and laborers in Tủa Chùa District.

ĐBP - Developing new Party members holds significant importance in Party building efforts, contributing to the rejuvenation of personnel and enhancing the leadership capacity and combat strength of Party organizations at the grassroots level.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of January 21, on the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday, Deputy Prime Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn, a member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his delegation visited and presented gifts to SOS Children’s Village Điện Biên Phủ, the provincial General Social Welfare Center, Điện Biên soldiers, Party members with 70 years of Party membership or more, policy beneficiary families, workers, and disadvantaged households in the province.

ĐBP - On the evening of January 20, in Hà Nội, the Party Central Committee’s Central Organizing Commission, in collaboration with Nhân Dân Newspaper, Communist Review, Vietnam Television, and the Việt Nam Journalists’ Association, organized the award ceremony for the 9th National Press Awards on Party Building - the Búa Liềm Vàng (Golden Hammer and Sickle) Awards 2024.

ĐBP - On the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday, on the morning of January 20, a delegation from the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên Province, led by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Mùa A Sơn, visited and extended greetings to several agencies, units, and policy beneficiaries in Điện Biên Phủ City.

ĐBP - “Promoting the good, eradicating the negative,” spreading positive and official information, and proactively preventing and strictly handling violations are effective methods to address the false narratives, malicious information, and wrong viewpoints of hostile forces, contributing to safeguarding the ideological foundation of the Party in the current situation.

ĐBP - As the 2025 Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday approaches, police force in Điện Biên Đông District, Điện Biên Province have launched a campaign to ensure public security, crack down on crimes, and promote legal awareness among residents. These efforts aim to guarantee a joyful, safe, and secure Tết holiday for all.

ĐBP - On the morning of January 18, at May 7 Square in Điện Biên Phủ City, the Điện Biên provincial Journalists’ Association organized the opening ceremony of the 2025 Spring Press Festival.

ĐBP - On January 17, the Điện Biên Province’s Department of Information and Communications held a conference to review task performance in 2024 and roll out missions in 2025. Mr. Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, attended the event.

ĐBP - On the morning of January 15, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên Province’s Party Committee held a conference to review performance of the provincial Party agencies in 2024 and deploy key tasks for 2025.

ĐBP – On January 14, a delegation from the Malaysian Embassy in Vietnam, led by Ambassador Dato’ Tan Yang Thai, had a working session and paid courtesy visit to leader of the Điện Biên Provincial People’s Committee.
