ĐBP - Against the backdrop of an information explosion and the robust development of social media, the media environment has become highly multi-dimensional. However, it also harbors numerous risks of inaccuracies, lack of verification, and manipulation by unobjective public opinions. This imposes increasingly high demands on every journalist to steadfastly uphold their professional ethics.

ĐBP - June 21, 1925, marked the birth of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press, founded by President Hồ Chí Minh. Spanning 101 years of construction and development, the revolutionary press has always accompanied the nation, excellently fulfilling its political mission and making vital contributions to the national liberation struggle, as well as national construction and defense.

ĐBP - Amid the highland villages of Điện Biên province, the press is increasingly affirming its role as an important bridge between Party committees, authorities, and the people.

ĐBP - June 15, 2025, marked a vital turning point for journalism in Điện Biên when the Điện Biên Phủ Newspaper and the Điện Biên provincial Radio and Television Station officially merged into the Điện Biên Newspaper, Radio, and Television.

ĐBP - Implementing the guidelines on arranging administrative units and reorganizing villages and residential groups, Điện Biên province is deploying its village and hamlet rearrangement plan. The merger of villages and hamlets is being carried out synchronously to create a breakthrough in operational direction, promote community resources, and build a streamlined grassroots-level political system tailored to local realities.

ĐBP - As a vanguard force on the ideological and cultural front, the press in Điện Biên province has played an important role in bringing the Party’s guidelines and policies, as well as the State’s laws and regulations, closer to officials, Party members, and the public. Through timely, accurate, and diverse communication, local media agencies have helped disseminate Party resolutions and policies, foster consensus in both awareness and action, and ensure that important decisions are quickly translated into reality.

ĐBP - On June 18, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, and Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, held a working session with Thanh Yên commune.

ĐBP - Listening to the people is not only a responsibility but also a vital bridge that connects the Party’s will with the people’s aspirations. In recent years, through various flexible and accessible approaches, particularly the recent “Listening to the people” Conference organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Điện Biên province, a trusted platform has been created for citizens to express their views. This initiative has helped address issues arising at the grassroots level, foster social consensus, and strengthen the great national unity bloc.

ĐBP - Xa Dung commune features 42 villages with more than 15,800 residents, over 90% of whom belong to the Hmông ethnic group. Having once been an area harboring multiple potential drug risks due to its location along complex bordering routes between Điện Biên and Sơn La provinces, Xa Dung is now step-by-step generating positive turnarounds right from the grassroots level.

ĐBP - On June 18, Trần Tiến Dũng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee, and Head of the provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation, alongside a working group, conducted a field inspection to evaluate the implementation progress of the Thanh Yên commune Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School Project.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of June 16, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee organized a meeting to celebrate the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - 2026) and to review and present the 4th Điện Biên province Journalism Award (2025).

ĐBP - Thousands of criminal cases and major investigations dismantled, thousands of offenders brought to justice, and large quantities of heroin, opium, synthetic drugs, and related evidence seized.

ĐBP - The deployment of large-scale works and projects always sets forth high demands regarding site clearance work. In Na Sang commune, driven by the drastic involvement of the party committee, authority, Fatherland Front, and mass organizations, the model of “Skillful public mobilization in site clearance for the construction of the Na Sang commune Multi-level Primary and Secondary Boarding School” has created deep consensus among the public, contributing to boosting local socio-economic development.

ĐBP - To complete the 2026 crop season production targets in Điện Biên province, alongside taking the initiative in irrigation water sources, seasonal frameworks, and synchronously applying technical measures, the preparation of crop seeds and agricultural supplies is also being focused on early by the agricultural sector, local authorities, and businesses.

ĐBP - The war has long receded, yet thousands of martyrs’ graves remain unidentified. With a deep sense of responsibility and gratitude, Điện Biên province is urgently deploying the sampling, digitization, and handover of martyr remains for DNA testing, opening up hope to reclaim names for the heroic children who fell for the Fatherland.

ĐBP - At this time, the preparation work for the 2026 defensive zone exercise of Điện Biên province is taking place urgently and seriously.

ĐBP - On June 10, at the Điện Biên provincial Department of Home Affairs, a delegation from the Happy Area Development Fund (FAD) of the Republic of Korea (RoK), led by Moon Huyn, Chairman of FAD, held a working session with several relevant departments, sectors, and units of the province to exchange and discuss future cooperation contents.

ĐBP - Immediately after the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party was issued, the Executive Board of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee urgently concretized it through Action Program No.40-CTr/TU dated March 3, 2026, clearly defining development viewpoints, orientations, tasks, and strategic breakthroughs aligned with local realities. From there, all levels, sectors, and localities have proactively formulated implementation plans with high determination, rapidly bringing the Resolution to life and spreading it powerfully from the province to the grassroots level.
