ĐBP - The Deputy Chairman of the Điện Biên Province People’s Committee, Vừ A Bằng, has called on Nậm Pồ District to focus on socio-economic development and accelerate the disbursement of public investment during a meeting on 19 November.

ĐBP – Chairman of Điện Biên Provincial People's Council Lò Văn Phương urged Tủa Chùa District to accelerate preparations for the upcoming Party Congresses, particularly focusing on personnel arrangements.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of November 12, a delegation from the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, along with representatives of sponsors (T&T Group and Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank SHB), visited and worked with the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Mường Pồn Commune (Điện Biên District) to discuss the progress of building homes for 20 households affected by flash floods.

ĐBP –Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee Secretary Trần Quốc Cường on Tuesday led a delegation to visit and present gifts to the teachers and students of Mường Lay High School in Mường Lay Town.

ĐBP — On the morning of 12th November, the Provincial Farmers' Association held a ceremony to mark its 50th founding anniversary (12th November 1974 – 12th November 2024). Attendees included Trần Quốc Cường, Member of the Party Central Committee and Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; as well as former provincial leaders and past leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association.

ĐBP — On 12th November, the People’s Committee of Điện Biên Province held its first monthly session, chaired by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Committee Chairman, Lê Thành Đô.

ĐBP — Xạ Phang is one of 19 ethnic groups in Điện Biên, residing in the high mountain regions. Through the years of development and settlement, Xạ Phang people still managed to preserve many unique cultural traditions and customs. One of these is the Livestock New Year holiday – a holiday that symbolises the close bond between people and their animals, highlighting the importance of draft animals in the agricultural life of Xạ Phang people.

ĐBP – Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee, attended the national unity festival at Tìa Ló A and B villages, Noong U Commune, Điện Biên Đông District, on Sunday.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of November 8, during the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, delegates participated in group discussions on the investment policy for the national target programme on drug prevention and control through 2030, as well as proposed amendments to the Advertising Law.

ĐBP - On November 8, the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minority Representatives of Điện Biên Province in 2024 took place under the theme “Promoting the heroic tradition of Điện Biên Phủ, the people of all ethnic groups in Điện Biên unite to preserve cultural identities, develop the economy and society, and ensure national defence and security.”

ĐBP – Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, presided over a meeting to review and provide feedback on the first draft of the political report on socio-economic development.

ĐBP – The Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organisation Affairs (NGOs) requested Điện Biên Province to develop a list of projects and areas in need of support from foreign NGOs in the coming years.

ĐBP – The inspection team of the People’s Council of Điện Biên Province on Wednesday held a meeting to provide feedback on the draft report concerning the results of monitoring legal compliance in criminal trials and the enforcement of criminal and civil judgments in the province during the 2021–2024 period.

ĐBP – The 15th National Assembly (NA) continued its 8th session on Monday, where a Điện Biên deputy proposed measures to address challenges in education and training.

ĐBP - A delegation from the People’s Procuracy of Udomxay Province, Laos, on November 6 held discussions with their counterparts in Điện Biên Province to share experiences and review the outcomes of their collaborative agreements.

ĐBP - The People’s Council of Điện Biên Province held a session on November 4, passing 14 strategic resolutions to drive the province’s social and economic development. Chaired by People’s Council Chairman Lò Văn Phương and Vice Chairwoman Giàng Thị Hoa, the meeting tackled key initiatives within the 2021–2026 agenda.

ĐBP – The Standing Committee of Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee on Thursday held a meeting with a working delegation from Envision Energy Singapore Pte, Ltd regarding the progress of the Envision Nậm Pồ wind power project.

ĐBP – The Logistics Subcommittee for the 15th Điện Biên Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure held its first meeting on Tuesday, discussing draft documents regarding task assignments within the subcommittee, guidelines for expenditure protocols for Party Congresses in Điện Biên, and a detailed budget estimate for the Provincial Party Congress.

ĐBP - Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Nguyễn Thị Hà, a standing member of the National Committee for Children, led an inter-agency delegation in a meeting with the Điện Biên Provincial People’s Committee on Tuesday.

ĐBP - The plenary session of the 6th Congress of the Việt Nam Youth Federation of Điện Biên Province for the term 2024-2029 took place on Tuesday (October 29) at the Điện Biên Province’s Conference and Cultural Center.
