ĐBP -  As part of the “return-to-the-root” journey in Hồ Chí Minh City, on April 14, a delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations of Điện Biên province, in coordination with the Party Committee of Thủ Đức city of Hồ Chí Minh City, held a meaningful event to mark the 50th anniversary of South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 -  2025).

ĐBP - At present, the Party Committee of the Điện Biên provincial Department of Health is actively preparing for its 12th Congress for the 2025-2030 term, which is scheduled to take place at the end of May.

ĐBP - The policy to rearrange district and commune-level administrative units, as outlined in conclusions and resolutions from the Central Party Committee, is being actively implemented by Điện Biên province with high political determination.

ĐBP -  On the afternoon of April 10, comrade Lê Thành Đô, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Điện Biên province, chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee for Public Administration Reform (PAR), Digital Transformation, and the National Population Data Project (Project 06 in short) for the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.

ĐBP - In recent years, Party members at Party cells and committees in Mường Ảng district, Điện Biên province have actively promoted their role, responsibility, and exemplary behavior in national patriotic movements, contributing to the development of their families and communities. This is a key factor in strengthening and enhancing the combat capacity of grassroots-level Party organizations.

ĐBP - The Party Congress of the Điện Biên provincial Department of Home Affairs for the 2025 - 2030 term is scheduled for late May 2025. To ensure its success, the department’s Party Committee has been closely directing all subordinate Party cells to complete their respective congresses and finalize preparations.

ĐBP - In line with the nationwide push to streamline and reorganize the administrative apparatus, Điện Biên province and other localities will soon undergo major changes.

ĐBP - The People’s Committee of Điện Biên province has issued Official Document No.1269/UBND-KT dated March 31, 2025, regarding the temporary suspension of certain tasks and administrative procedures at various levels within the province.

ĐBP - Ahead of each National Party Congress, hostile forces often propagate false viewpoints, misinformation, and spread slanderous accusations aimed at distorting, discrediting the Party, and undermining the State. In response to these schemes, local Party committees and authorities have proactively implemented preventive measures, focusing on disseminating positive and official information while strictly handling violations.

ĐBP - Over two days (March 28 - 29), the Party Committee of the Điện Biên provincial School of Politics convened its 28th Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. Trần Cao Cường, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee of Agencies, attended and provided guidance.

ĐBP - This morning (March 29), the Điện Biên provincial Youth Union - the provincial Council of the Young Pioneers Organization held the 12th “Uncle Ho’s Good Children” Congress in 2025.

ĐBP - Mường Lay town, Điện Biên province has consistently paid special attention to wastefulness prevention and control across various sectors.

ĐBP - In recent years, the militia and self-defense force of Điện Biên province has consistently played a core and pioneering role in labor production, building new-style rural areas, and strengthening the people’s national defense associated with the people’s security posture. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the force’s traditional day (March 28, 1935 - 2025), Senior Colonel Lê Văn Sơn, Member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Commander of the provincial Military Command, shared insights on the role and mission of the force.

ĐBP - The 2025 theme, “Studying and following Hồ Chí Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle on great national unity, building a clean and strong Party and political system, contributing to the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term”, has been implemented by agencies, units, and localities in Điện Biên province. The initiative aims to create a vibrant atmosphere, contributing to the successful completion of political tasks right from the beginning of the year.

ĐBP - On March 26, the Steering Committee on Science and Technology (S&T) Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation of Điện Biên province held a meeting to discuss several important issues.

ĐBP - In the mountanous border communes of Nậm Pồ district, Điện Biên province, there exists a force that silently carries out the task of protecting sovereignty and security, always ready to respond to any situation at the grassroots level. This is the militia and self-defense force - the force of the local people, who do not detach from production and work, serving as the “steel shield” at at the grassroots level and a solid support for local people.

ĐBP - The restructuring of administrative agencies is a major policy of the Party and State, aimed at streamlining organizational structures, expanding development space, and enhancing service quality for the people. The merging of agencies and the streamlining of organizational structures may lead to surplus personnel, causing concerns for many civil servants, public employees, and workers. Therefore, the process must take into account individuals’ personal aspirations.

ĐBP - On March 24-25, the 20th Party Congress of Regiment 82, Division 355 (Military Region 2) for the 2025-2030 term was successfully held, completing all planned contents and agendas.

ĐBP - Maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of state management at the grassroots level has not only led to positive changes in the working style and discipline of officials and civil servants in Mường Ảng district, Điện Biên province but has also created favorable conditions for residents and businesses, ensuring their satisfaction in administrative transactions.

ĐBP - Recognizing that building a “exemplary, outstanding” comprehensively strong unit is crucial to successfully fulfilling political tasks, in recent years, the Party Committee and Command of Regiment 82, Division 355, Military Region 2 have maximized internal resources and implemented various synchronized and innovative measures. This is considered the key factor in enhancing overall strength, combat readiness, and capability to meet mission requirements in the new situation.
