With a high sense of responsibility and flexible methods, officers and soldiers always accompany ethnic compatriots, actively helping people develop the economy, stabilize life, maintain national defense - political security, contributing to building an increasingly solid “people’s heart posture.”

In the excited atmosphere of the early spring days of 2026, officers and soldiers of Regiment 741 (Provincial Military Command) joined hands with teachers and students of Chua Ta Ethnic Minority Semi-boarding Primary School (Xa Dung commune) to build new classrooms. With a sense of responsibility and dedication, every officer and soldier, disregarding difficulties, contributed with labor days full of gratitude.

The close coordination between the unit and the local party committee, authorities, the School Board, and the people has created a work rich in humanistic value, contributing to improving facilities, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning for highland students; thereby leaving many good impressions and sentiments about “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers.”

Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh, Principal of Chua Ta Ethnic Minority Semi-boarding Primary School, shared: “The dedicated help of officers and soldiers of Regiment 741 is a great source of encouragement for the school’s teachers and students. Thereby helping the school have more new classrooms...”

Along with that, officers and soldiers of Regiment 741 have proactively coordinated closely with the local party committee and authorities to promote the propaganda of the Party’s guidelines and lines, policies, and laws of the State to the masses. Through many flexible forms, soldiers actively mobilized people to strictly obey regulations on security and order, preserve environmental hygiene, and prevent social vices.

Working groups and teams regularly stick to the grassroots level, stay close, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people, and timely advise and support solving difficulties arising in the area. At the same time, effectively organizing cultural, artistic, sports activities, and folk games on the occasion of the New Year 2026, creating a joyful and united atmosphere. After the fierce flood passed, Háng Pu Xi village (Xa Dung commune), once submerged in desolation and ruin, has now gradually revived with spacious resettlement houses, bright red tiled roofs, imbued with military-civilian affection.

In the process of overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces promoted their core role, actively coordinating with local party committees, authorities, and people to join hands in rebuilding a new life for the people. From leveling the ground, transporting materials to directly participating in construction, every action demonstrated the spirit of responsibility, sharing, and dedication of soldiers towards the people.

After days of sticking to the village, sticking to the people, and completing resettlement houses with the people, the provincial armed forces have contributed to helping people soon stabilize their accommodation and feel secure in labor and production. The new homes have become a solid spiritual support, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the area, deepening military-civilian solidarity.

In the new spacious house, Mùa A Sấu, a resident of Háng Pu Xi village, emotionally shared: “After the rain and flood passed, my family was very worried about when we could rebuild the house after the flood. Thanks to the soldiers coming to help, we have a sturdy house like today. Your attention and sharing have helped my family overcome difficulties, adding faith for us to feel secure in doing business and stabilizing our lives.”

Aiming to consolidate the “people’s heart posture” to be increasingly solid, the Provincial Military Command in particular and the provincial armed forces in general have deployed many work activities comprehensively and synchronously; thereby contributing importantly to maintaining political stability, social order and safety in the area.

Implementing mass mobilization tasks in 2025, the provincial Military Command directed Regiment 741 and the Armored Reconnaissance Company to combine the task of protecting the Western border in the dry season with mass mobilization work in Mường Pồn commune, Điện Biên district in the 2024 - 2025 period. With a strength of 146 comrades and nearly 8,000 labor days, officers and soldiers helped people build 71 houses, renovate 25ha of agricultural land, clear 500m of canals, repair 5km of rural traffic roads, give gifts to difficult households, and participate in relocating many households out of landslide-risk areas.

Along with that, the provincial Military Command advised and coordinated with the Department of Construction to effectively implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. The provincial armed forces mobilized 131 officers and soldiers to participate in more than 2,100 labor days supporting house construction in 3 communes: Nậm Kè, Mường Toong, Na Sang, completing 76 houses; ensuring progress, quality, and absolute safety.

Especially, facing heavy damage caused by floods and landslides, the provincial armed forces promoted the core role in relief and disaster recovery work. More than 700 turns of officers and soldiers with over 34,000 labor days, along with many vehicles, were mobilized to relocate 80 households, build new and repair 321 houses for affected families.

The provincial Military Command actively advised and coordinated to mobilize social resources to support people in disaster areas with a large total value in cash and kind, contributing to tightening the military-civilian solidarity relationship. The results achieved in mass mobilization work in 2025 affirmed the efforts, sense of responsibility, and good nature of the provincial armed forces in performing the task of “serving the people”.

Through specific and practical deeds, the provincial armed forces and the provincial Military Command have contributed importantly to stabilizing people’s lives, maintaining political security, social order and safety; at the same time firmly consolidating the people’s trust in the Party, the State, and the Army, creating a solid foundation for the locality’s sustainable development in the coming time.
