ĐBP – On Tuesday, high-ranking officials from Điện Biên Province evaluated the advancement of projects commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory.

Provincial Party Secretary Trần Quốc Cường, while at the A1 hill relic site, called for cooperation between local authorities and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to enhance the site for tourism and to gear up for the anticipated visit of prominent state leaders during the anniversary.

Furthermore, the refurbishment of the provincial stadium is more than 90 per cent finished, with investors and construction teams promising completion by March.

The provincial Party Secretary praised urgent progress since the March 19 inspection and pushed for swift completion according to plan.

In Điện Biên Phủ City, efforts are intensified to revamp urban areas, notably the stadium entrances.

Inspecting the conservation of Him Lam resistance centre, the Provincial Party Secretary Cường called for meticulous preparation and expedited procedures, readying for the groundbreaking ceremony of a relief sculpture for the anniversary.

Leaders review the construction progress of the Provincial People's Court headquarters.

Meanwhile, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism prepares for delegate tree planting and site renovation.

At Điện Biên Phủ Victory Monument, suggestions were made for renovations, additional lighting, redesigned benches, and free water stations.

Provincial leaders review the conservation and enhancement efforts for the Him Lam resistance center relic project.

Provincial leaders also mandated the inspection of major roads, which includes tree planting, the improvement of lighting, and street cleaning.

All tasks are to be finalised by April 15th./.
