Mùa A Sơn, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chairs the meeting.

The year 2024 has witnessed many significant political events for the country and the province, particularly the 70th anniversary of the Điện Biên Phủ Victory. The Provincial Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organisations have actively implemented tasks, emulation movements and campaigns associated with socio-economic development and local security and defence.

The units also participated in and organised numerous meaningful activities, contributing to a positive impression on visitors and residents, recognised by party committees and local authorities.

Lò Văn Phương, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, discusses the difficulties of various organisations.

At the meeting, the delegates provided many opinions, focusing on task implementation, and advising party committees and authorities on local political tasks for the second half of the year.

The units need to focus more on communication, coordinating with local authorities to promote and implement key provincial projects; proactively develop plans for supervision, social critique, and prepare well for the provincial Việt Nam Fatherland Front Congress and the Provincial Youth Union Congress.

Lò Văn Mừng, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Việt Nam Fatherland Front Committee, provides opinions at the meeting.

The units also mentioned about difficulties and sought for support. The Provincial Farmers' Association said it failed to meet the target assigned by the central association for the growth of the farmers support fund and required support in building the fund. It also needed solutions for recovering loans from the Women’s Support Fund and the construction project of the working headquarters for the provincial Việt Nam Fatherland Front and its affiliated organisations.

Vừ A Bằng, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, provides his opinions at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Sơn evaluated that the units had performed well in their tasks during the first half of the year, making important contributions to the overall mission of the province.

He suggested that in the coming time, the units should continue to excel in their set tasks and advise party committees and local authorities on related fields.

They should also enhance political and ideological education, and educate the Party's guidelines, State policies, and laws to members and the public; actively coordinate to effectively grasp the situation; and intensify dissemination to ensure public understanding and support for provincial and district public investment decisions.

Additionally, they should improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and critique; promptly review and consolidate organisational structures and personnel, enhance the quality of staff, focus on fostering and developing membership; and strengthen practical and effective external activities with northern provinces of Laos and China.
