Opening the series of activities for Youth Month 2026, the Standing Board of the Điện Biên provincial Youth Union organized a launch ceremony in Mường Nhé commune with a scale and atmosphere that spread powerfully, attracting more than 1,000 members and young people. The program not only showcased the pioneering spirit of youths but also deployed many practical social welfare activities. These included donating resources to Mường Nhé and Muong Toong communes to implement youth projects and presenting 30 gifts to students facing difficult circumstances.

Giàng Thị Sùng, a student in class 10A5 at Mường Nhé Ethnic Boarding High School, shared that the gifts and the attention from the Union members provide not only better conditions for studying but also serve as a great source of motivation for students to strive further.

Immediately following the launch ceremony, delegates and youth union members attended the inauguration of the “Lighting up the countryside” project in Cây Sổ village, Mường Nhé commune. Beyond bringing light to a border village, each bulb illuminates the faith and joy in the hearts of the residents. This achievement is a result of the pioneering spirit, sharing, and the aspiration of youths to contribute.

Following this momentum, youth union levels across the province have simultaneously implemented numerous practical projects tied to the political tasks of each locality. These actions contribute bright colors to the overall development of the homeland, including: Participating in building new-style rural areas and civilized urban zones; eliminating temporary and dilapidated housing; implementing economic development models and transferring scientific and technical knowledge to young people; organizing free medical examinations and medicine distribution for people in difficult areas; and voluntary blood donation, environmental protection, digital transformation, and administrative reform.

The Mường Nhé commune Youth Union has organized various grassroots activities, such as mobilizing members for “Green Sunday” environmental cleanups and supporting families in need. Giàng Thị Duyên, Secretary of the commune Youth Union, shared that Youth Month is an opportunity for young people to promote their volunteer roles. By choosing specific tasks suited to local conditions, these activities help members mature while creating positive changes right from the grassroots level.

In addition to community-oriented activities, youth union levels have implemented creative methods to disseminate information about the upcoming national elections. Information is conveyed flexibly and closely to various groups, especially youths in remote areas and ethnic minority communities, ensuring every voter understands and is ready to participate.

Local youth union members actively participate in popularizing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

At polling stations, the blue volunteer shirts continue to appear as members assist with preparations and guide voters. Youths have also been quick to apply digital transformation by spreading official information in cyberspace. Thào A Chứ, Secretary of the Sân Bay village Youth Branch in Si Pa Pìn commune, noted that members have proactively visited households to explain the importance of the election and ensure it takes place safely and according to regulations.

Mùa Chiến Thắng, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province and Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, stated that Youth Month 2026 is leaving distinct marks through synchronized and effective activities. By taking on difficult tasks and new challenges, youths have reaffirmed the role of the Union organization and strengthened the trust of the Party, government, and people.

Although March will eventually pass, the resonance of these activities will remain in every village and in the trusting eyes of the people. Through these meaningful deeds, youths of Điện Biên have ignited positive energy and a desire to contribute, ensuring that youthful strength continues to shine on new journeys to build a sustainable homeland.
