Spreading love from sharing and responsibility

ĐBP - Through specific and practical actions, social welfare programs and efforts to support poor households and policy families have been bringing warmth to those in difficult circumstances.

This timely sharing has helped people stabilize their lives, contributing to spreading the spirit of love and community cohesion, especially during the traditional Lunar New Year (Tết) holiday.

The new house of the family of Thào Thị Kía in Hua Sát village was completed thanks to the joint efforts of the community and people of Chiềng Sinh commune.

In the final days of the year, as the atmosphere of the 2026 Tết spreads across the villages, joy is multiplied in the new home of the family of Thào Thị Kía in Hua Sát village, Chiềng Sinh commune. The recently completed house, still smelling of new materials, has become a meaningful gift that helps the family of Thào Thị Kía enjoy a warm and sufficient holiday. As one of three households in especially difficult circumstances in Hua Sát village, her family received joint support from organizations, unions, and the Chiềng Sinh commune community to build their home.

Promoting the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and responsibility toward the people, Chiềng Sinh commune organized a campaign to provide labor support, helping households step-by-step stabilize their lives and feel secure in labor and production. Through the call and mobilization of the local Party Committee and authorities, the entire cost of building the three houses was mobilized from socialization sources. Ly A Khai, head of Hua Sát village, shared that all three supported families lacked labor resources and were unable to build houses themselves. Given this reality, Chiềng Sinh commune mobilized a support force including the commune police, self-defense militia, youth union members, and women’s union members to participate. These forces disregarded difficulties to together transport materials, dig foundations, erect frames, and roof the houses with a spirit of responsibility and a heart of sharing.

The spirit of sharing and responsibility of organizations and unions has helped poor households settle down and safely welcome the 2026 Tết holiday.

Inside the new house, the members of the family of Thào Thị Kía could not hide their joy and deep gratitude for the care and help from the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Chiềng Sinh commune. Thào Thị Kía expressed that for many years, her family did not dare to dream of having such a solid house as they do today, and this support is a great motivation for them to work hard and strive to rise in life. In addition to housing support, the unions of Chiềng Sinh commune have implemented many effective activities to help families in difficult circumstances develop their economies. The Chiềng Sinh commune women’s union coordinated a campaign to care for macadamia trees for two poor households in Co Đứa village. To create motivation for households to escape poverty sustainably, many members and unions actively participated in soil preparation, weeding, and caring for the macadamia areas. Đỗ Văn Sơn, Chairman of the Chiềng Sinh commune People’s Committee, emphasized that supporting the poor must be done through specific actions with the joint effort of the entire political system and the community to build an increasingly compassionate and sustainable homeland.

In the days approaching the 2026 Tết, activities to care for and support the poor and those in difficult circumstances are being implemented widely by all levels and sectors. With the desire for everyone and every home to have a warm Tết, Na Sang commune has been organizing many meaningful activities. Responding to this spirit, the Na Sang commune farmers’ union joined hands to contribute glutinous rice to organize the wrapping of chưng cakes to present to poor and difficult households. Trần Hồng Quân, Chairman of the Na Sang commune People’s Committee, said that these cakes contain the affection and sharing of the community, helping poor households find more joy during the spring season. Through this activity, the locality wants to spread the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility while affirming the determination to ensure that no one is left behind during the Tết holiday.

The Na Sang commune farmers’ union contributes glutinous rice and organizes the wrapping of chưng cakes to present to poor households.

Over the years, supporting poor households and policy families has always been identified by the Party Committees and authorities of Điện Biên province as a central and consistent task in the process of socio-economic development. Many social welfare policies have been implemented synchronously and promptly, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of the people. On every occasion of spring, this care is further prioritized by all levels.

Through housing support programs, Tết gifts, and food assistance, organizations and individuals both inside and outside the province have joined hands to bring warmth to many families in need. These practical deeds have contributed to improving living conditions and spreading the spirit of mutual affection within the community. Promoting the spirit of “leaving no one behind,” Điện Biên province has been stepping up the care for the poor with solutions suited to local reality. As the traditional Tết approaches, this timely sharing will bring a truly meaningful and loving spring to the poor and disadvantaged families across the province.
