Over 400 people join in voluntary blood donation

ĐBP - On April 20, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign in Điện Biên Phủ city, Điện Biên province, in collaboration with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center (under the Điện Biên provincial General Hospital), held the first blood donation event of 2025 at Điện Biên Phủ High School.

Under the slogan “Donate blood today, good health tomorrow”, the event attracted more than 400 participants, including youth union members, civil servants, public employees, workers, and local residents. After medical screening, the organizers collected 238 units of safe, high-quality blood - reaching 108% of the assigned target.

The voluntary blood donation event has contributed to meeting the demand for blood, ensuring a safe and reliable blood supply for emergency care and treatment. This initiative has brought hope to many patients and fostered a sense of community and solidarity.

The blood donation event attracts a large crowd of youth union members, civil servants, public employees, workers, and residents.
