Improving capacity to implement preferential policies for meritorious persons

ĐBP - On September 14, the Điện Biên provincial Department of Home Affairs organized a capacity-building training session on preferential policies for revolutionary contributors for nearly 50 participants, comprising leaders of socio-cultural divisions, civil servants in charge of meritorious persons affairs, and accounting personnel from 22 communes across the province.

During the training class, participants acquired comprehensive overviews of the prevailing preferential policy framework for revolutionary contributors.

The curriculum focused on regimes and policies regularly implemented at the local level, administrative procedures, implementation guidelines, and critical issues to note when resolving benefits for meritorious persons and their relatives.

Participants received specific instruction on managing meritorious persons, compiling records, monitoring target beneficiaries, implementing policy regimes in accordance with statutory regulations, and managing and disbursing funding dedicated to preferential policies for revolutionary contributors.

Spanning 1.5 days, the training session contributes to elevating operational competence for grassroots cadres directly administering policies, ensuring preferential benefits for meritorious persons are delivered promptly, fully, and to the eligible beneficiaries.
