Through their dynamism and resilience in business, paired with a deep sense of social responsibility, these women are successfully projecting a beautiful and powerful image of the modern woman.
During the days leading up to the 2026 Lunar New Year of the Horse, members of the Điện Biên provincial Female Entrepreneurs Club have been busy with the “Green Chưng Cakes-Meaningful Spring” program. In a warm and bustling atmosphere, every step is performed skillfully to create square cakes rich in traditional Tết flavors.
Lê Thị Hà, a club member, shared that these cakes are funded by member contributions and social mobilization. Once finished, they are delivered directly to children at the SOS village Điện Biên Phủ, residents of the provincial general social protection center, disadvantaged patients at the kidney dialysis hamlet, and many underprivileged families across the area. This initiative aims to bring a warmer holiday to those in need while spreading the spirit of mutual affection throughout the community.
The club’s journey of service extends through practical actions such as a volunteer trip to Trống Sư A hamlet, Xa Dung commune, where members donated construction materials for sanitation facilities to struggling households. Despite the difficult roads, members reached the site to deliver gifts personally, demonstrating immense dedication. This program, valued at VND 93.5 million, helped 28 households improve their living conditions and move toward a more civilized lifestyle. Vàng A Hù, head of Trống Sư A hamlet, noted that this support is highly practical, motivating residents to stay resilient and build a cleaner, more beautiful hamlet.
Beyond charity, many entrepreneurs have boldly innovated to create jobs and increase local incomes. The story of Nguyễn Thị Lan Hương, Director of Cara Farm Vietnam Co., Ltd., serves as a prime example of this business dynamism. Starting from a small-scale model facing capital and technical hurdles, she persevered with organic agriculture to build a brand for clean and sustainable produce. Since launching her organic fruit model in 2014, she has focused on environment-friendly products, eventually receiving organic certification in October 2022.
Currently, the company manages 4.5 hectares with over 2,000 trees, including green-skinned pomelos, Ruby pomelos, and red-fleshed oranges. Nguyễn Thị Lan Hương explained that the farm applies synchronized organic techniques, such as a fertilization method that aerates the soil for perennial dryland crops, which reduces reliance on chemical fertilizers. Although yields are not as high as traditional methods, the quality is superior, leading to stable prices and positive market reception. Her products often sell out immediately after harvest, providing regular work for dozens of local laborers.
Individual success in this region is often marked by the spirit of solidarity within the Điện Biên provincial Female Entrepreneurs Club, which now consists of 55 members organized into five local groups. This club is more than a networking space; it plays a crucial role in supporting members’ business development and protecting the legitimate rights of women in the corporate world.
Trịnh Thị Mến, the club’s Chairperson, stated that the organization aims to build a community of resilient female entrepreneurs who are pioneers in innovation. By following provincial development orientations, the club organizes activities to enhance management capacity and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the era of integration while maintaining a focus on social security and human values.
