Healthy and rewarding playground for childhood

ĐBP - In modern life, as children’s needs for play and experience receive increasing attention, creating safe and healthy activity spaces becomes even more meaningful. At the Provincial Youth and Children Activity Center, gift-cultivation classes, experiential activities, and rewarding playgrounds are becoming familiar rendezvous points where young children can freely explore, train, connect with friends, and write beautiful memories of childhood.

Pulsating with lively music, the dance room at the provincial Youth and Children Activity Center is always filled with a vibrant atmosphere. Rhythmic footsteps, graceful arms, and innocent smiles of young children create a picture full of vitality. Under the dedicated guidance of teachers, every movement is meticulously refined - from posture and eye expression to rhythm - helping the children confidently express themselves on stage.

Currently, this Folk Dance class has 80 students learning under two tracks: folk dance and contemporary dance. Folk dance brings children closer to traditional cultural values, nurturing a love for their homeland through every dance movement while developing flexibility and gracefulness. Meanwhile, contemporary dance opens up a creative, energetic space with youthful, dynamic melodies, helping children enhance physical fitness, increase confidence, train coordination and teamwork skills, and spread a positive spirit through every dance step.

Phạm Linh Dương, an instructor, shared: “What we aim for is not only equipping children with performance skills or beautiful dance moves, but also helping them train their health, nurture their souls, and develop artistic thinking and confidence. Through every session, children learn to listen, coordinate with friends, boldly express themselves, and step-by-step shine not only on stage but also in their studies and daily life.”

Folk Dance students from the provincial Youth and Children Activity Center perform at Vincom Plaza.

Lê Thảo Vy shared: “Every day I go to dance class is a day I feel very excited. I get to learn many great dance moves, meet new friends, and feel more confident when standing in front of people. Folk dance lessons help me understand and love traditional national culture more, while modern dance routines bring me joy and dynamism.”

Leaving the dance room and entering the Vocal Music class, visitors feel immersed in a space filled with melodies and emotion. Clear melodies blending with guitar chords, rhythmic clapping, and the innocent singing voices of young children brighten the entire classroom space. Under the dedicated guidance of teachers, children practice vocal exercises, learn breath control techniques, pronunciation, and expression, and confidently perform songs in front of the group. Each lesson not only ignites a passion for music but also helps children communicate boldly, nurture emotions, and develop talents in a joyful, friendly environment.

The class is organized annually by the Provincial Youth and Children Activity Center, attracting numerous children every summer. Alongside nurturing talents, the center coordinates with schools, communes, and wards to organize cultural and artistic exchanges, performances, and playgrounds for children. This serves as an opportunity for them to boldly showcase talent, train performance skills, exchange and learn from one another, and preserve beautiful memories, contributing to creating a meaningful, rewarding, and experience-rich playground.

Lường Thị Thanh Thúy shared: “I really enjoy the exchange and performance sessions organized by the center. Every time I stand on stage, I feel both nervous and excited. It is an opportunity for me to showcase what I have learned and learn more from friends who share the same passion. Those experiences help me feel more confident and will become beautiful memories of my school days.”

To offer children healthy, rewarding playgrounds with meaningful experiences, the provincial Youth and Children Activity Center annually builds and organizes diverse talent-cultivation classes, experiential activities, play programs, and skill-training sessions. It has become a familiar meeting spot that preserves fond memories and gives wings to childhood dreams.

Currently, the center organizes classes across sports, arts, and skills, including Taekwondo, Vovinam, badminton, basketball, dance sport, folk dance, vocal music, and Young Pioneers etiquette classes, attracting over 600 student enrollments. All classes feature specialized instructors, creating a safe, friendly environment for children to develop talents, practice life skills, and confidently express themselves.

Tạ Văn Hiền, Director of the provincial Youth and Children Activity Center, stated: “To ensure effective classes, the center always invests in supplementing facilities and teaching equipment to create a safe, friendly learning environment for the children. Our teaching staff consists of specialized, experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated instructors who always accompany and encourage every student to develop their talents and confidently develop themselves. In the coming time, the center will continue innovating contents and organizational methods, expanding more types of activities suited to children’s needs and interests so that every child coming to the center has the opportunity to learn, experience, develop comprehensively, and enjoy a truly joyful and meaningful playground.”

Healthy and rewarding playgrounds not only help children in the province develop talents, physical fitness, and life skills, but also nurture their souls and inspire noble dreams and values. When families, schools, and society join hands to invest in creating more safe, friendly play spaces, it becomes a meaningful journey where the seeds of knowledge, kindness, and aspiration are planted.
