The operation of this system has created an additional modern channel connecting labor supply and demand, contributing to promoting digital transformation in employment and helping job seekers and businesses access information quickly, conveniently, and effectively.
Over the past few days, the number of laborers coming to learn about and register for the national job exchange platform at the Điện Biên provincial Employment Service Center has been increasing. With just a smartphone or a computer connected to the internet, job seekers can look up recruitment information, submit online applications, and find suitable jobs without spending much time traveling or preparing paperwork as before.
Lò Văn Hưng from Huổi Sứa village, Mường Ảng commune, was looking for a job. Guided by an official from the Provincial Employment Service Center to register an account and use the exchange platform, he was able to access a wide range of recruitment information from businesses both inside and outside the province after completing the procedures in just about 10 minutes.
“This job exchange platform is very convenient and easy to use,” shared Lò Văn Hưng. “In the past, applying for a job required paper applications, authentication, and traveling to many places, which was very time-consuming. Now, most procedures are carried out online, making it much faster and more favorable.”
Implementing Official Dispatch No.3677/BNV-CVL dated April 18, 2026, of the Ministry of Home Affairs on deploying the trial version of the national job exchange platform, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee requested relevant departments, sectors, and localities to coordinate implementation. Among them, the Department of Home Affairs acts as the focal agency responsible for organizing the deployment according to the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Department of Home Affairs directed the provincial Employment Service Center to receive, manage, and operate the system, while strengthening dissemination through job transaction sessions, employment counseling activities, and digital platforms. Additionally, the Center focuses on supporting laborers receiving unemployment benefits, those who have lost their jobs, and vulnerable groups to access recruitment information, register applications online, and connect with suitable jobs.
Head of the Professional Division under the provincial Employment Service Center Nguyễn Quốc Toàn stated that implementing the document of the provincial People’s Committee and the direction of the Department of Home Affairs on using the national job exchange platform, the Employment Service Center has proactively carried out various tasks to put the system into operation across the province, and although it is still in the trial phase, it has initially shown positive efficiency.
The Center has received, managed, and operated the system in strict compliance with the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Department of Employment, while coordinating with departments, sectors, localities, and related units to step up dissemination and usage guidance for laborers and businesses. Nguyễn Quốc Toàn emphasized that the deployment of the national job exchange platform has contributed to improving the efficiency of connecting labor supply and demand in the digital environment, supporting job seekers in accessing recruitment information more quickly and favorably, while helping businesses expand their recruitment channels.
To bring the system closer to pupils, students, and citizens, the provincial Employment Service Center coordinated with Điện Biên College to organize two introduction and guidance sessions on using the national job exchange platform for over 100 final-year students preparing to graduate, which is considered a practical solution to help students access the labor market early and find suitable jobs immediately after graduation.
The provincial Employment Service Center has also partnered with departments, sectors, and commune and ward-level People’s Committees to post QR codes, instructional materials, and the system’s access address at convenient locations for easy public access.
For the business sector, the Center coordinated with the Provincial Enterprise Association and companies with recruitment needs to guide them in account registration and updating recruitment demands onto the system, while supporting connectivity with suitable job seekers, contributing to enhancing recruitment efficiency and developing the labor market in the province. Since May 13, 2026, more than 160 laborers in Điện Biên have participated in the national job exchange platform, with seven businesses registering for recruitment and two job transaction sessions being organized on the system.
Although in the trial phase, the deployment of the national job exchange platform in Điện Biên is showing positive signals, and the system is expected to become an effective bridge between job seekers and businesses, contributing to modernizing the labor market, improving the quality of job resolution, and accelerating digital transformation in the labor and employment sector across the province.
