Through the companionship of police forces and youth union members, the campaign has been contributing to elevating digital skills and encouraging citizens to efficiently exploit digital services.

These days, across many communes and wards throughout the province, police forces are present at residential spots, public administrative service centers, and village cultural houses to guide citizens in installing, activating, and using the VNeID application. Everyone receives direct hands-on support on their smartphones and answers to questions encountered during usage.

Lò Thị Thiên from Pá Nặm village, Sam Mứn commune, excitedly shared that with direct guidance from police officers, soldiers, and youth union members, she found using VNeID very convenient. Without spending much time traveling, she received dedicated support for every operation and now knows how to use the app when needed.

Beyond guiding application installation, officers, soldiers, and youth forces instruct residents on using practical utilities such as presenting electronic documents, looking up personal information, executing online public services, making cashless payments, and updating necessary information on VNeID, helping citizens step-by-step change their habits and access public services faster and more conveniently.

According to Chairman of the Sam Mứn commune People’s Committee Phạm Thiết Chùy, the commune is executing the “Digital summer with VNeID” campaign from June 1 through August 31, 2026. The commune mobilized police forces, youth union members, and community digital technology teams to visit individual villages directly to assist residents in installing, activating, and using electronic identification accounts. To date, hundreds of VNeID accounts have been activated; following direct guidance, many residents know how to use app utilities such as looking up personal information, presenting electronic documents, and executing selected online public services.

In Quài Tở commune, the implementation of Project 06 has also achieved positive results. By June 15, 2026, the electronic identification collection rate for individuals aged six and older reached 98.94%; the electronic identification account activation rate reached 95.6%; health insurance card integration on VNeID reached 72.02%; and social welfare account integration reached 34.5%.

However, to complete the province’s goal - striving for 100% of eligible citizens to have updated social welfare account information, integrated health insurance, and active VNeID accounts, alongside 100% of citizens province-wide being issued identity cards - the commune is decisively deploying the “Digital summer with VNeID” campaign.

Vice Chairman of the Quài Tở commune People’s Committee Nguyễn Trung Kiên shared that while many residents already possess VNeID accounts, they still feel confused during usage. Therefore, during this campaign, the commune focuses on guiding residents to understand and utilize the app’s utilities while remaining determined to fulfill all planned targets.

To enhance campaign deployment efficiency, in early June 2026, the Standing Board of the provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Police Division for Administrative Management of Social Order under the Provincial Police to organize dissemination and guidance on using VNeID application utilities for administrative procedures and online public services for hundreds of youth union cadres and members. Armed with this knowledge, this force partners with police officers to guide citizens step-by-step so everyone can use the VNeID application.

According to statistics from the provincial Police, to date, the entire province has collected electronic identification for 570,220 out of 595,227 eligible citizens (95.8%), and activated 539,985 level-1 and level-2 electronic identification accounts (90.7%).

With the campaign’s target that 100% of eligible citizens have updated social welfare account details, integrated health insurance cards, registered accounts, and master the use of the VNeID application, alongside 100% of eligible citizens being issued identity cards, units and localities are continuing to accelerate the “Digital summer with VNeID” campaign - focusing on supporting residents in completing information, activating accounts, and effectively exploiting digital utilities.

Colonel Đinh Thanh Sơn, Head of the Police Division for Administrative Management of Social Order under the provincial Police, stated: “The ‘Digital summer with VNeID’ campaign is deployed from June 1 to August 31, 2026, province-wide, aiming not only to raise electronic identification collection and activation rates, but more importantly, to help citizens know and master the utilities on the VNeID application. Police forces will continue coordinating with localities, youth union members, and community digital technology teams to step up dissemination, guiding citizens to integrate electronic documents, update social welfare and health insurance information, and effectively utilize online public services.”
