During the preparation process for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, Hoàng Công Chất High School (Thanh An commune) faced numerous difficulties as it was implementing an infrastructure upgrade and repair project right inside the school campus. Trần Đức Đạt, Vice Principal of Hoàng Công Chất High School, stated that the exam location at the school consists of 14 official exam rooms, 2 backup rooms, and 2 waiting rooms. For the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, Điện Biên province has 27 exam locations with 359 exam rooms and more than 8,000 registered candidates, including 995 free candidates. Implementing the directives of the Provincial People’s Committee and the assignments of the Steering Board, departments, sectors, and People’s Committees of communes and wards have seriously executed their duties to prepare for the exam organization. Up to now, related units have completed the preparation of infrastructure, human resources, and necessary conditions serving the exam, while formulating plans to guarantee security, safety, healthcare, electricity, communications, and candidate support in disadvantaged areas.
Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Cù Huy Hoàn stated that up to this point, the preparation work for the exam has been deployed synchronously, meticulously, and is basically complete. Students have been fully equipped with knowledge, test-taking skills, psychological counseling, and have studied exam rules and regulations. Management officials and teachers participating in various stages of the exam were strictly selected in accordance with regulations, and they have been thoroughly imbued with and trained on exam regulations and operations.
