Điện Biên ready for 2026 High School Graduation Exam

ĐBP - Along with students nationwide, more than 8,000 candidates in Điện Biên province are preparing to enter the 2026 High School Graduation Exam.

Under the close direction of the Steering Board for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, alongside the proactivity and responsiveness of departments, sectors, localities, and school units, all conditions regarding infrastructure, human resources, security, healthcare, electricity, and candidate support plans have been thoroughly finalized, standing ready for a safe and serious exam.

During the preparation process for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, Hoàng Công Chất High School (Thanh An commune) faced numerous difficulties as it was implementing an infrastructure upgrade and repair project right inside the school campus. The noise and the reduction of learning spaces from the construction work have exerted a certain impact on teaching and learning activities. However, with high proactivity and determination, up to this point, the school has finalized all necessary conditions, standing ready for a safe, serious, and regulation-compliant exam.

Trần Đức Đạt, Vice Principal of Hoàng Công Chất High School, stated that the exam location at the school consists of 14 official exam rooms, 2 backup rooms, and 2 waiting rooms. To guarantee the most favorable environment for the exam, the construction unit will temporarily suspend operations during the exam period. Up to now, all exam rooms have been fully prepared as regulated with 24 sets of student desks and chairs, proctor desks and chairs, lighting systems, cooling fans, wall clocks, and other necessary equipment.

The school has also fully arranged working rooms for the Exam Council, storage rooms for exam papers and scripts, backup rooms, alongside computer systems, printers, and surveillance cameras to serve the exam organization work. With meticulous preparation across all aspects, the Hoàng Công Chất High School exam location is ready to head toward a safe, serious, and objective 2026 High School Graduation Exam.

Along with schools across the province, up to now, teachers and students of Nà Hỳ High School for Ethnic Minorities (Nà Hỳ commune) are ready to enter the 2026 High School Graduation Exam. This year, the school has 104 12th-grade students registered for the exam. To create the most favorable conditions for the students to take the exam with peace of mind, the school has coordinated with relevant forces to prepare the necessary conditions to organize a safe and regulation-compliant exam.

Nguyễn Văn Tập, Principal of Nà Hỳ High School for Ethnic Minorities, shared that as an exam location for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, the school has proactively reviewed and fully prepared all conditions regarding infrastructure, exam rooms, electricity and water systems, and equipment serving the exam in strict accordance with regulations. Concurrently, it coordinates closely with functional forces, local authorities, and related units to guarantee security, healthcare, fire and explosion prevention, and create the most favorable conditions for candidates participating in the exam.

For the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, Điện Biên province has 27 exam locations with 359 exam rooms and more than 8,000 registered candidates, including 995 free candidates. Implementing the directives of the Provincial People’s Committee and the assignments of the Steering Board, departments, sectors, and People’s Committees of communes and wards have seriously executed their duties to prepare for the exam organization. Up to now, related units have completed the preparation of infrastructure, human resources, and necessary conditions serving the exam, while formulating plans to guarantee security, safety, healthcare, electricity, communications, and candidate support in disadvantaged areas.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Cù Huy Hoàn stated that up to this point, the preparation work for the exam has been deployed synchronously, meticulously, and is basically complete. Students have been fully equipped with knowledge, test-taking skills, psychological counseling, and have studied exam rules and regulations. Management officials and teachers participating in various stages of the exam were strictly selected in accordance with regulations, and they have been thoroughly imbued with and trained on exam regulations and operations.

Infrastructure at exam locations, such as exam rooms, waiting rooms, backup rooms, electricity and water systems, equipment for preserving exam papers and scripts, and surveillance cameras, has been reviewed, inspected, and fully supplemented. Forces and plans to ensure social order and security, exam safety, fire prevention and fighting, grid electricity, traffic, healthcare, food safety and hygiene, natural disaster prevention, and exam season support are ready to perform their duties.

With the close direction of the province’s leaders, the Steering Board for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam, along with the proactive and responsible spirit and synchronous coordination of all levels and sectors, up to this time, all necessary conditions for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam have been meticulously prepared, standing ready to organize a safe, serious, objective, and regulation-compliant exam.
