ĐBP - On the morning of May 12, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee Mùa A Sơn hosted a meeting with the province’s delegation of outstanding young pioneers who will attend the 10th National Congress of “Uncle Hồ’s good children” in 2025.

With the theme “Empowering Vietnamese youth for the new era”, the 10th National Congress of “Uncle Hồ’s good children” will be held in Hanoi from May 13 to 15. Điện Biên’s delegation includes seven exemplary students (three boys and four girls) from primary and secondary schools. These delegates were selected based on their outstanding academic performance in provincial and national competitions, as well as their active involvement and achievements in youth and pioneer activities from 2020 to 2025.

Comrade Mùa A Sơn speaks at the meeting.

During the three-day event, the young delegates will take part in a variety of meaningful activities: a tribute ceremony and a visit to President Hồ Chí Minh’s mausoleum, a meeting and exchange with the central secretariat of the Hồ Chí Minh Communist youth Union, the presentation of the Kim Đồng Awards for the 2024 - 2025 school year, a tour of the Vietnam military history museum, and the official commendation ceremony for the 10th National Congress of “Uncle Hồ’s good children”.

The provincial Youth Union’s leader presents a report on the delegation’s preparation for the 10th National Congress of “Uncle Hồ’s good children”.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Mùa A Sơn congratulated the delegates selected to attend this prestigious national event. He emphasized that participation is not only a personal honor but also a source of pride for the students’ families and schools. He noted that the event offers a unique opportunity for the delegates to engage, connect, and learn alongside peers from across the country in one of the most significant events for Vietnamese children.

He also expressed his hope that, in addition to strictly following the event’s rules and regulations, the delegates would actively participate in all activities, absorb the spirit and messages of the congress, and exchange experiences with peers from other provinces. He encouraged them to proudly represent Điện Biên and help promote the image of the province’s youth to the rest of the nation.

Điện Biên provincial leaders present gifts and take commemorative photos with the delegates.

For the provincial Youth Union and the provincial Young Pioneers’ Council, Sơn requested that responsible staff be assigned to accompany and manage the delegation during the trip. He emphasized the need for high responsibility in ensuring the safety and smooth participation of the delegates, with timely updates and reports to the event organizers and the standing board of the provincial Party Committee in case of any issues.
