The entire province currently has two press agencies and 16 representative offices or resident reporters from Central press organs, totaling nearly 200 people active in the journalism and media sector.

Nguyễn Ngọc Sơn, Deputy Head of the Education, Dissemination and Mass Mobilization Commission of the provincial Party Committee, stated: “With political mettle, professional responsibility, and a deep attachment to reality, press agencies in the province have become an important bridge bringing the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws to the people. Concurrently, they truthfully reflect the day-by-day transformations of the Điện Biên homeland, contributing to encouraging patriotic emulation movements and driving local socio-economic development.”

Through good deeds and beautiful gestures multiplied daily, the press has helped awaken a spirit of kindness, solidify trust, and cultivate the great national solidarity block.

Journalist Vũ Tất Lợi from the Resident Office of the Voice of Vietnam in the Northwest region (VOV Northwest), remarked: “Beyond doing well in news reporting, I actively introduce and promote the unique cultural values of ethnic minorities in Điện Biên province through rich, vividly visual, and humanistic article series and reportages. Consequently, the image of Điện Biên - a heroic land rich in cultural identity - has spread widely across VOV’s media channels, helping elevate community awareness and attract the interest of domestic and international friends.”
