At historical landmarks such as the Điện Biên Phủ Victory Monument, Mường Thanh Bridge, the Command Bunker of the Điện Biên Phủ Strongpoint Group, and the Him Lam Resistance Center, over 1,000 national flags were hung, creating prominent visual highlights across historic locations on National Day.

Many local residents donned vibrant traditional ethnic attire to venture into town with relatives and friends celebrating Independence Day. Radiant smiles, eager looks, and warm gatherings blended with the festive atmosphere, composing a colorful, lively portrait of Điện Biên on National Day.

Across various communes and wards, cultural and sports festivals welcoming National Day attracted wide community participation. Dynamic cultural performances, athletic competitions, and folk games drew cheering crowds and fostered social exchange.
