Through direct, online, and digital job exchange sessions, numerous employment opportunities are opening up, helping workers access timely recruitment information and enabling enterprises to hire the right people, thereby step-by-step elevating human resource utilization efficiency and driving socio-economic development.
In these days, at the Employment - National Contributors Center of Điện Biên province under the provincial Department of Home Affairs, the working atmosphere is bustling as many workers come to research recruitment information, register for job counseling, and participate in job exchanges. Supported attentively by the center’s staff, workers receive advice on recruitment demands from enterprises inside and outside the province, income levels, working conditions, and related policies, enabling them to choose suitable jobs aligned with their qualifications, capacity, and personal aspirations.
Phá A Trá from Pa Pốm village, Điện Biên Phủ ward, shared: “Today I came to the Employment - National Contributors Center of Điện Biên Province to seek information, receive counseling, and get job introductions. I hope to find a stable job right here in the locality or within the province to secure a long-term income, both developing my family’s economy and conveniently caring for my relatives.”
Nguyễn Quốc Toàn, Head of the Employment Division under the Employment - National Contributors Center of Điện Biên Province, noted: “The center has effectively maintained direct and online job transaction activities while strengthening information technology application and boosting communication efforts across its website, Facebook fanpage, Zalo, and TikTok. Utilizing and managing the National Job Exchange Platform has contributed to expanding local workers’ access to employment information. Numerous enterprises inside and outside the province, including those recruiting for out-of-province jobs or contract-based overseas employment, have proactively coordinated with the center in recruitment, creating additional job opportunities across diverse occupations and income levels.”
In the first six months of 2026, the center collected information from 375 companies and enterprises, achieving 57.7% of the annual plan, while updating 16,627 domestic and international recruitment posts to build a labor market database serving job-matching work. The center intensified communication, counseling, job introduction, labor export, and career orientation activities for 9,627 person-times, reaching 64.1% of the 2026 plan.
Through labor supply and demand matching activities, the center introduced 1,298 workers for interviews at units, companies, and enterprises inside and outside the province. As a result, 1,120 workers were recruited and employed, including 680 workers at out-of-province enterprises and 440 workers at local enterprises. Concurrently, the center stepped up publicity regarding sending workers to work abroad in Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Taiwan (China), expanding job opportunities and raising incomes for laborers.
Particularly, the center coordinated the organization of 3 job fairs, 36 job conferences across communes and wards, 35 mobile job exchanges, and 50 online job exchanges. Furthermore, the center put the trial version of the National Job Exchange Platform into operation, thereby step-by-step diversifying and expanding labor supply and demand connection channels to elevate labor market operational efficiency.
Nguyễn Hữu Tuân, Head of the Socio-Cultural Division of Si Pa Phìn commune, shared: “Organizing job fairs, conferences, and exchanges in various formats creates favorable conditions for workers, especially those in remote areas, to access recruitment information and employment opportunities in a timely manner. Consequently, workers gain additional chances to meet, exchange directly, grasp recruitment needs, working conditions, and benefit regimes, thereby selecting jobs that suit their capacity and aspirations.”
Executing Plan No.971/KH-UBND dated February 5, 2026, of the provincial People’s Committee on resolving employment for Điện Biên province’s workers in 2026, Điện Biên province focused on deploying synchronous solutions to develop the labor market, effectively connect labor supply and demand, and create sustainable jobs for citizens.
In this effort, the province boosted job counseling and introductions, organized direct and online job exchanges, expanded linkages with enterprises inside and outside the province, and strengthened vocational training tied to market recruitment demands. Synchronously deploying worker-enterprise connection activities contributed to elevating job resolution efficiency, creating additional job opportunities, and boosting incomes for workers, particularly those in rural, remote, and ethnic minority areas.
During the first six months of the year, employment resolution across the province achieved positive results, creating new jobs for 5,580 workers. This outcome demonstrates effective coordination among levels, sectors, localities, and enterprises in expanding job opportunities and meeting labor market demands, contributing to the effective realization of the province’s socio-economic development goals.
Synchronously deploying labor supply and demand connection solutions, diversifying job counseling formats, and expanding enterprise connection networks inside and outside the province have brought positive employment outcomes. This serves as an important foundation for the province to continue executing job creation and income enhancement goals for residents, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction and propelling socio-economic development in the coming time.
