ĐBP - On the afternoon of November 12, a delegation from the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, along with representatives of sponsors (T&T Group and Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank SHB), visited and worked with the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Mường Pồn Commune (Điện Biên District) to discuss the progress of building homes for 20 households affected by flash floods.

ĐBP –Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee Secretary Trần Quốc Cường on Tuesday led a delegation to visit and present gifts to the teachers and students of Mường Lay High School in Mường Lay Town.

ĐBP — On the morning of 12th November, the Provincial Farmers' Association held a ceremony to mark its 50th founding anniversary (12th November 1974 – 12th November 2024). ĐBP — Xạ Phang is one of 19 ethnic groups in Điện Biên, residing in the high mountain regions. Through the years of development and settlement, Xạ Phang people still managed to preserve many unique cultural traditions and customs. One of these is the Livestock New Year holiday – a holiday that symbolises the close bond between people and their animals, highlighting the importance of draft animals in the agricultural life of Xạ Phang people.

ĐBP - On the afternoon of November 8, during the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, delegates participated in group discussions on the investment policy for the national target programme on drug prevention and control through 2030, as well as proposed amendments to the Advertising Law.

ĐBP - On November 8, the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minority Representatives of Điện Biên Province in 2024 took place under the theme “Promoting the heroic tradition of Điện Biên Phủ, the people of all ethnic groups in Điện Biên unite to preserve cultural identities, develop the economy and society, and ensure national defence and security.”

ĐBP - A delegation from the People’s Procuracy of Udomxay Province, Laos, on November 6 held discussions with their counterparts in Điện Biên Province to share experiences and review the outcomes of their collaborative agreements.

ĐBP - The People’s Council of Điện Biên Province held a session on November 4, passing 14 strategic resolutions to drive the province’s social and economic development. Chaired by People’s Council Chairman Lò Văn Phương and Vice Chairwoman Giàng Thị Hoa, the meeting tackled key initiatives within the 2021–2026 agenda.

ĐBP – The Standing Committee of Điện Biên Provincial Party Committee on Thursday held a meeting with a working delegation from Envision Energy Singapore Pte, Ltd regarding the progress of the Envision Nậm Pồ wind power project.

ĐBP – The Logistics Subcommittee for the 15th Điện Biên Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 tenure held its first meeting on Tuesday, discussing draft documents regarding task assignments within the subcommittee, guidelines for expenditure protocols for Party Congresses in Điện Biên, and a detailed budget estimate for the Provincial Party Congress.
