ĐBP - This afternoon (October 16), the 15th provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term continued its work in the main hall, announcing the results of the first meeting of the provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term. Comrade Trần Tiến Dũng, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, was elected to the position of Secretary of the provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

ĐBP - Continuing its working program, this morning (October 16), in a spirit of democracy, unity, wisdom, and responsibility, the 15th Congress of Delegates of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee held the election for the 15th provincial Party Executive Committee, for the 2025 - 2030 term.

ĐBP - Facing the demand for a comprehensive renewal of the political system and the need to build a streamlined, effective, and efficient apparatus, Điện Biên province has been synchronously implementing the central government’s policies and resolutions on restructuring the organizational apparatus. This makes the province a key area where hostile and reactionary forces often exploit ethnic and religious issues, cyberspace, or difficult living conditions to entice and incite people to violate the law. In addition, crimes related to drugs, human trafficking, high-tech fraud, and illegal immigration are developing in a complex manner, putting great pressure on the work of ensuring security and social order in the area.

ĐBP - This morning (October 15), at the provincial Conference and Culture Center, the 15th Congress of the Điện Biên provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term was solemnly opened with the participation of 358 official delegates representing over 49,000 Party members, symbolizing the will, wisdom, and strength of unity of the entire Party Committee.

ĐBP - The flash floods and landslides that struck in early August caused severe damage to housing and vital infrastructure, including schools, water supply systems, and irrigation works. In response, the Điện Biên provincial People’s Committee promptly allocated recovery funds and directed relevant departments and units to coordinate with local authorities to implement resettlement projects, repair works, and infrastructure restoration.

ĐBP - The movement to study and follow the ideology, morality, and style of President Hồ Chí Minh has become a regular practice deeply rooted across the Party and among the people of Điện Biên province. Through creative and practical approaches tailored to local realities, the movement has made significant contributions to building a clean and strong Party, promoting socio-economic development, and strengthening national defense and security.

ĐBP - During the 2020- 2025 term, Điện Biên province faced complex global and regional developments, including the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, and climate change, all of which had far-reaching impacts on every aspect of life.
