Practical opinions express the sentiments and responsibility of party members and the people of Điện Biên towards the country’s future, contributing to perfecting development guidelines and policies in the new period.

Party member Quàng Văn Dung, Secretary of the Party Cell of Co Mỵ village, Thanh Nưa commune, regularly follows the press and media to grasp information about the preparation work for the 14th National Congress of the Party and always places deep trust in this important political event. Quàng Văn Dung shared: “I highly appreciate the spirit of innovation and political determination shown in the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party. Especially the major goals and targets in socio-economic development to take the country to sustainable development. I hope the Party and State pay more attention to socio-economic development policies for highland and border areas, investing in transport infrastructure, health, education, information technology... Focusing on training and fostering young officials, female officials, and ethnic minority officials to meet task requirements in the new situation.”

Born and raised in the period of national renewal and deep integration, today’s young generation carries a dynamic, creative spirit and aspiration for dedication. Looking towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, a large number of union members and youth express pride in the country’s strong changes, while entrusting much faith and expectation in the upcoming development path.

Hồ Chính Hóa, Vice Chairperson of the commune Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union of Si Pa Phìn commune, expressed: “I hope the Party and State continue to pay attention and have practical policies so that youth have conditions to study, start a business, establish a career, be creative, and dedicate themselves. It is necessary to expand training programs on digital skills, vocational skills, and young leadership skills; creating a favorable environment for youth to participate in social management, contributing ideas and initiatives in policy making. Besides, promoting revolutionary ideal education, fostering patriotism, and the sense of self-reliance and self-strengthening, helping youth have firm bravery and live responsibly with the community and the Fatherland.”

Facing guidelines and policies that pay attention to and practically care for the people’s lives, the rural labor force of the province expressed their belief that the 14th National Congress of the Party will continue to issue decisions creating breakthroughs in improving the quality of life for workers.

At the conference gathering opinions of officials and party members on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party organized by the Standing Board of the Party Committee of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, delegates discussed excitedly, contributing many enthusiastic and responsible opinions. They focused on proposing solutions to promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security, and improve the material and spiritual life of the people.

Contributing to the draft documents, Lò Văn Mừng, Secretary of the Mass Association Party Cell, Chairman of the provincial Association of the Elderly, requested to continue paying attention to and institutionalizing deeply and effectively the development guidelines and policies for ethnic minority, mountainous, and border regions, especially Northwest provinces, including Điện Biên, to promote synchronous economic, cultural, and social development associated with ensuring national defense and security. There should be specific, practical solutions to raise awareness of law observance among the people, especially ethnic minorities, helping people proactively access policies, protect legal rights and interests, and live and work according to the Constitution and the law.

To ensure the collection of opinions on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party is implemented seriously and in accordance with the Central’s direction, the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee issued Official Letter No.2890-CV/TU, dated October 15, 2025, on organizing the collection of opinions on the draft documents of the 14th Party Congress. On that basis, the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization directed localities, agencies, and units to promote dissemination and widely disseminate the draft content on mass media, the provincial People’s Committee’s electronic information portal, and websites of boards, departments, sectors, localities, agencies, and units. At the same time, organizing conferences, seminars, and talks, creating conditions for officials, party members, and people to participate in discussions and contribute responsible, quality opinions to the draft documents.

The organization of collecting opinions on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party was implemented seriously by party organizations under the province and socio-political organizations, following the direction and guidance of superiors, with appropriate forms and ensured quality. Officials, party members, and people of all strata actively discussed and contributed many valid opinions, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility, thorough research, and attachment to local reality.

Opinions stemming from practical life are bold evidence of the close bond between the Party’s guidelines and policies and the people. Each opinion expresses the spirit of responsibility, enthusiasm, and wisdom, contributing to building trust, creating social consensus, strengthening and promoting the people’s power, and consolidating the great national unity bloc. These are also valuable experiences with profound practical value for the country’s revolutionary cause in the new era.
