This progress serves as a testament to the determination and unity of the local Party committee, government, and residents in materializing resolutions for socio-economic development and bringing the Party’s guidelines to life. Recognizing that the biggest bottleneck hindering local progress was a lackluster transportation infrastructure, the Executive Board of the Nà Bủng commune Party Committee issued Resolution No.10-NQ/ĐU at the start of the term, focusing on synchronous and gradually modernized infrastructure for the 2026-2030 period. This resolution identifies infrastructure development as a strategic breakthrough, prioritizing investment in key sectors to create a foundation for improving the quality of life for the people.
By utilizing a combination of funds from national target programs and various socialized resources, the transportation landscape of Nà Bủng has made significant strides. To date, the entire commune possesses a system of village and inter-hamlet roads along with auxiliary works totaling 58.52km in length, representing a total investment of approximately VND 688 billion. Within this network, 34.45km have been hardened, reaching a rate of 58.81%, while the remaining 24.10km of dirt roads are currently receiving further investment. This rural transportation network is gradually taking shape, connecting hamlets and creating a seamless link throughout the commune.
Several vital routes are currently being completed, including the 6km road to Bản Nương with a total capital of over VND 86 billion, which acts as a backbone connecting local production areas. Another significant project covers the Nậm Tắt 1, 2, and Púng Pa Kha routes spanning over 8km, which has been synchronously invested to ensure that travel for the Mông ethnic people is no longer a worry during the rainy season. Notably, a large-scale project to upgrade the Huổi Khương - Huổi Dạo inter-village road is underway, stretching 9.287km and designed according to Type B rural road standards with a total investment of VND 50 billion. This project not only prevents the isolation of two highland hamlets but also ensures mobility for border patrol efforts.
This infrastructural shift has directly stimulated production by connecting raw material regions to the commune center and consumption areas, thereby reducing transport costs and increasing income for residents. Giàng A Sở, a resident of Huổi Khương, shared that bringing corn or pigs to the market was once extremely difficult, particularly during the flood season, but now that trucks can reach the village, transporting agricultural products is much easier and children can go to school more conveniently.
Despite these achievements, the Nà Bủng commune Party Committee acknowledges that many challenges remain due to the complex terrain and limited capital. Future orientations of Resolution No.10-NQ/ĐU focus on specific goals through 2030, including ensuring that 100% of hamlets have year-round car access and supporting 30% of villages with materials for rural construction under the motto of the State and the People working together.
The commune also aims to upgrade the power grid to reach 99% of households and improve telecommunications so that 100% of hamlets have 4G or 5G coverage to support digital transformation, while targeting an 80% upgrade rate for health and education infrastructure.
Trần Đình Nhuận, Secretary of the Nà Bủng commune Party Committee, noted that the commune will continue to focus resources on essential works such as irrigation and public projects, prioritizing the most difficult hamlets so that infrastructure can stay one step ahead in the fight against poverty and the protection of national border sovereignty. With the involvement of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, Nà Bủng is turning its Party Congress resolutions into a reality of new roads and new livelihoods for those living on the border.
